Those are in demand most of the time. Ig, Dustin started them last year and the hype around resource GAs was insance. If I am not wrong, @DeadlyChemist was the first to recommend resource GAs on RN threads.

Really need something in DE tbh... Not sure you've got presence there. It's widely available but looking for dirt cheap, beating netcup... Alas.. hard to find.

Hi @Saragoldfarb -- fun fact, a lot of folks actually treat our France location as a Germany option interchangeably. We're in Strasbourg, not Paris like most providers, so you're looking at only a ~3ms difference to Frankfurt. For most use cases, it behaves nearly identical to DE in terms of latency and feel. Though for DE proper, we only offer shared/reseller hosting services there at the moment.

Absolutely right. Might give that a try thinking of it!

I just use adguard home or technitium and white label the end point if issues persists with some end points being blocked

an article on TorrentFreak actually states once you start blocking stuff, it's a slippery slope.. so i personally just vigilantly avoid ads and close popups.. if you good and fast enough - popups don't harm.

Can you share the article about this? I've been using the same setup since last couple of years.

i would but they are also affercted by CF.. although should have been back by now.,.

I'm curious, do any of you watch twitch regularly?

Have never once used Twitch in my life. I am not a huge fan of gameplay videos.

Aah. I watch some small minecraft streamers and i've been working on starting my own channel too

Good luck, dude. Also check Kick and Rumble, if you are interested. Maybe try streaming to all 3. Might increase revenue.

I only started like a week ago, so I usually only get like 1 viewer lol (my friend).

Well, you gotta start somehwere. Keep going. The first few days, weeks or even months are tough, but, that's what separates a successful person from another who just gave up.

Yep. My goal is to grow my channel so I can do it as a part-time/full-time job :)
So far, I really enjoy streaming so we'll see how far i can go!

Yeah, it seems like the current thing to do is multistream to the various platforms and then post trimmed videos to youtube/some other VOD service after the fact (if you switch games/etc.) to also capture additional views

    Restreamer to the rescue

for those liking to Twitch, i can only recommend to untwitch

just a nice place to download videos and watch on your time.. i don't know, i use sometimes but only allows 1hr download at a time.. good to download clips from twitch.

Never tried it on windows but yt-dlp supports a lot of sites, various options, and lets you download without limits.

I go through spurts. Have you noticed how agrressive they've been with ads? I do use an extension but sometimes I will use mobile which I don't have a blocker on it

That's why you use DNS level ad blocker, simplifies the life.

I used to on my home network but it interfered with some things like news videos so I stopped. Though I really should setup a different WiFi SSID that will block ads, something like MyWiFi-Adblocker so it will be simple. I also used DNS66 on my android tablet which did a great job.

Presently, I have to do it per device, cause my router doesn't support OpenWrt. At the pace these ads are multiplying, I might have to soon get an OpenWrt compatible router.

Another option is to get a cheap rockpi or radxa sbc connect it to router setup adguard or technitium dns use the ip as dns resolver in router network settings.

Thought about that as well. Do have a Luckfox Pico at home, not being used. May require some hardware mod, but, Ig, i could put it to use as an ad blocker.

Certainly can I have seen guys using esp32 for a custom dns sinkhole.

That's a good option as well. Those cost like under 300.

Yup but using large blocklists are no go there.

I think Xiaomi AX3000T is a very cheap and capble option to run OpenWrt. I personally use Podkop for PBR to route specific sites through my vpn and block all ads

Not available here, would have really liked to own one, need to upgrade my r7000

Lately I have been thinking maybe an Orange pi R1 running OpenWrt could replace your router. You could then add your last router as an AP/switch. Or just buy an umanaged switch. This setup could be really cheap

Most sbc with multiple lan ports are costly here, the best option I could have gone with was getting r7000, now thinking of getting something enterprise class maybe mikrotik or something.

Orange pi is cheap in my country. You don't need multiple lan ports on the board itself, the orange pi R1 has 2 lan ports that you could configure one as your WAN and the other one as your lan and connect it to your previous router to work as your AP/switch, or just buy a very cheap unmanaged switch. Even if the sbc doesn't have 2 lan ports you can add a gigabit ethernet adapter to the usb port essentially the same setup.

The issue is I use multiple ISPs and need around 3 WAN ports and one LAN port going to the switch. Might just get a to link gateway.....
