Failover from Cloudflare

Is there a way to do an automatic failover from Cloudflare in case they have a big outtage again? With or without Cloudflare DNS, CDN, Turnstile.

  • No.

  • Yes, get off Cloudflare

  • Automatic - no. I am just deploying a Pangolin setup for this event.

  • Currently, websites that use their proxies are experiencing issues.

  • This practice is called a Multi-CDN strategy.
Instead of relying on a single company (like Cloudflare or Fastly), you use a "traffic controller" to intelligently distribute your website's traffic across two, three, or even more different CDN providers.

This controller is almost always a specialized, high-end DNS service that performs Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB).

Cloudflare Load Balancing: (You can use Cloudflare's Load Balancer to manage other CDNs, even if you don't use their CDN).

AWS Route 53: (Using its "Latency," "Geolocation," and "Failover" routing policies).

    NS1

    Akamai GTM (Global Traffic Management)

Yes, cloudflare dashboard giving error. their support portal giving errors. My most sites are showing 500 error by cloudflare.. can't connect to the edge. Even their statuspage is showing service down.
