To be transparent, at this time, we still feel like cPanel is king, so no immediate plans. Even though we don’t agree with what WebPros is doing on the pricing side, the familiarity, the ecosystem, the polish -- it’s what the majority of end-users are most comfortable with. It also allows us to deliver a consistent, predictable experience across our shared/reseller platform. By the way, our resellers have historically seen better conversion rates when offering cPanel, so that’s another factor.
Plus, they recently introduced the SiteJet AI Website Builder, which opens up an entirely new market for our resellers (and us) to target. So there’s been a lot of positive momentum there.
That said, we’re not blind to the fact that there is a segment of the community that prefers DirectAdmin (usually for pricing reasons). Our primary focus remains on cPanel, and we’re continuing to invest heavily into that stack, but if enough demand builds up, we’re not opposed to exploring alternatives down the road.
Right now, our focus for this product line has been finishing the next-gen upgrades we’ve been rolling out -- Ryzen CPUs, NVMe, CloudLinux 9, etc. We’re almost wrapped up, and all new orders are already deploying on the new next-generation platform.
