Need a Remote Work Server – VPS, VDS or DEDI?
Hi.
I’m currently looking for a server for remote work (coding and WhatsApp automation), and I would greatly appreciate your advice.
I’m considering AlexHost and UltaHost, so I would love to hear about your experiences with either provider — in terms of reliability, performance, and overall support.
For this type of use case, I’m also wondering which option would be more suitable: VPS, VDS, or a Dedicated Server.
Lastly, if you know any providers that do not retain connection logs or network activity logs, your recommendations would be very helpful.

If you need some privacy with ur traffic, use a VPN
Your use case would be the determination in VPS/VDS/Dedicated Server. Think of it like an apartment (VPS), a tiny house (VDS), or a regular house (Dedicated Server). The apartment might get you access to a big swimming pool, but you're sharing it with other people sometimes. The house might have it's own, small pool, but it's just yours.
A VDS usually offers the best middle-ground. You have resources like CPU that are dedicated to you and you can use them all the time as much as you want. A VDS may also come with backups of the whole system. A dedicated server almost never comes with any sort of built-in backups.
If, however, you need a large amount of storage, it's going to be hard to find a VPS/VDS with that and any sort of CPU power.
