    Why do you hate the east coast huh? Cool to see growth, well done.

    Is IPv6 coming to Sofia as well? :D

    It's already there?

    If you're referring to the ipv6 geolocation showing Kyiv, that's just a waiting game for the different group DBs to update. The data on the geofeed was updated last week.

    Weird then I might be missing something my vps shows ipv6 as null in the panel. Will send in a ticket later. Thanks for confirming!

    If I remember correctly, there was a switch in VirtFusion to enable IPv6 when you setup the VPS.

    Ah yeah, this.

    By default it's not selected on new builds unless you toggle it on. Many people never use IPV6 correctly so no point in having it "always on" if they're not going to use it or secure it properly. :)

    But it's just a toggle from the control panel so even if you forgot to enable it upon first build of your VM you can of course enable it later too.

    interested in the 512m if possible (and it’s available), sir

  • I found a bug in your website. When the window width is within a certain range, "Support Center" wraps around to the left of the menu and it's impossible to select items in "Hosting & Servers" because it's detected as a mouseover on "Support Center" and closes the menu.

  • The web site no longer indicates DNS hosting is coming soon. Was it scrapped?

  • It works. Just link that you have is not valid

    Still supported (for now). I've had a pending TOS/AUP update for like 10 months now that I've just not yet finalized haha. Part of that would be prohibiting transfers or updates to your email address after registration.

    Thank you. I've replicated this as well but not sure how to fix it. The menu appears either for desktop, or if the width of the window is narrow enough then it'll be the hamburger menu for mobile. I'll look more into it.

    Not scrapped. Actually been working on this the last few days. We have separate DNS clusters setup for: DA Shared hosting customers, domain name customers, PTR records / rDNS for VPS customers. This new setup is anycast and will consolidate the three clusters above into one new one. As far as a standalone DNS product, I still want to offer this but it won't be different than what you'd get with a domain name or hosting account. Still working on the details.

    Right now the new DNS cluster is maybe 85% ready for production. Feel free to PM me if you want to test it out or want to know more.

    @Fubukibox can you tell me where you got those URLs from? The URLs look correct but they're missing the portal. in front of the 'incognet.io portion of the URL. I can't replicate this from my side.

    Our main site is mirrored across many different regions (like 15 different VMs) and synced, but it's possible that perhaps the VM serving your request for your geographic region isn't configured the same as the others. The site is some basic PHP based CMS I wrote ages ago and URLs that lead to WHMCS are all amended so that the main part (ex: portal.incognet.io) is replaced with the onion address if accessing the main site over the Onion mirror, or replaced with the Yggdrasil address if accessed over Yggdrasil, etc. That way we didn't have a lot of hard-coded clearnet URLs on the site.

    Please go to the website and let me know if the footer links to things like "Accepted Payment Methods" or "Knowledge Base" look like. They should start with https://portal.incognet.io/ but if they do not, then that is a clue that for whatever reason this particular instance you're accessing isn't handling the URLs properly.

    First time I've seen this reported and the site doesn't require anything other than Nginx/PHP, so I'm not sure how a single instance could be behaving differently than the others. I painstakingly setup all of these at the same time with over a dozen terminals open side by side across my monitors some months back. :D

    Other general updates:

    • Stockholm, Sweden will be live soon.
    • Black Friday deals are coming. We'll have deals for all services. Will all be very limited.

    Find this media query in header.css

    @media screen and (max-width: 1599px) {
        .navbar a, .dropdown .dropbtn {
            min-width: 168px;
            font-size: 15px;
        }
    }

    Change font-size 15px to 14px. Fixed.

    Broken between 1300px and 1600px width resolutions.

    We have a mirror in LA with Hosthatch. When I set my hosts file to point incognet.io directly to that mirror, I can't replicate the error.

    Do you still experience this? Feel free to PM me the exact steps you take or what page/where on the page you see these broken URLs. I can even give you the direct IP of another mirror if you wish to add it to your host file and try again, to see if it's (somehow, for some reason) isolated to you or something.

    Weird issue, I hope to fix it so it doesn't impact anyone else, whatever the cause may be.

They should start with https://portal..io/ but if they do not, then that is a clue that for whatever reason this particular instance you're accessing isn't handling the URLs properly.

    I checked my AGH dns query history and the IP is pointed to Bunny in LAX 143.244.50.82 170.205.38.150 143.244.50.83 incognet.b-cdn.net, that's what quad9, cloudflare and nextdns gave me the past 24h. i don't think it's my AGH cache since i have that disabled. it's def one of these 3 LAX IP address iirc

    Thanks.

    I checked today on my PC (and my phone) and it seems to work again.

    Hi @MannDude ,

    I wanted to inquire about the state of SEV-ES on your new VPS servers in Bulgaria.

    In your knowledgebase article on "VPS Plans and Pricing", I read:

    By default, all VPS nodes have Secure Memory Encryption enabled and support SEV-ES (Secure Encrypted Virtualization - Encrypted State) for those with workloads that require additional privacy measures.

    However it is quite old and lists only plans in the US and NL.

    When I checked, SEV-ES was not enabled on my VPS by default, nor do I see any way of enabling it. I opened a ticket like 2 weeks ago to ask if it is supported at all, but didn't get any response since...

    Thanks

    Also interested. Pinged about it a few times but nothing. I remember it was mentioned there will be one-off fee...

    Sorry, ticket was on-hold for me. I'm actually working through the queue tonight.

    Not all of our hardware supports it, I'll try to make a list of those that does and get with VirtFusion to see how best to enable it for the VM. Honestly had forgotten about it and haven't really tested it beyond getting confirmation at the host-level of some of the nodes in WA where I had initially did some testing during setup.

    There may be a few 2GB RAM 1 core plans available at $17.76/year in Stockholm now... πŸ‘€

    We have some Black Friday Deals going live at 28/11 00:00 that may be more enticing, however. Just offering some very limited / low stock lifetime deals in US (Liberty Lake, Valley Forge) and in Europe (Bulgaria and Sweden). Just the 512MB plans and 2GB plans. In each of those POPs, only 10 lifetime 512MB plans will be available and only 5 of the lifetime 2GB plans will be available... Perfect for personal VPN, DNS, proxy, site hosting, etc.

  • That's awesome, thanks a lot @MannDude!! Just got one in Stockholm, Sweden and it's really nice.

    Two cool new locations within a month, IncogNET is on a roll lately!
