  • *** #ORDERID SNATCHED – My most stable, committed relationship this year has been with my seedbox. Our love is pure. I give her a torrent, and she gives me... the world. Uncompressed. At 10Gbps.
When I'm feeling down, she's always up. When I feel slow, she's already finished seeding a 100GB file to a 3.0 ratio. My friends talk about partners who are "flaky." Seedbox has never flaked. Her uptime is better than my social life.

    @PulsedMedia said: 4TB Storage Box: RAID5/RAID50 HDD, 10 Gbps burst — 9.99 €/mo 6.69 €/mo

@FAT32 Both of these are at the ~7$ Mo limit. 6.02€ = 6.97$ this very moment.
Correcet me if i'm wrong, the rule has always been that at least one of the offers must be within the limit and rest are ok?

So i fail to see what the problem actually was, have i misunderstood the rules?

Ofc we could make -50% size boxes for 25% cheaper to hit lower pricing.

But thanks for the ideas! Over night mind churned many ideas how to get the SB pricing down again.

The rule is $10/m now, so no worries both of them should stay within the limit :)

If I may jump in here, the current limit is $10/month

Technically, in the offer itself you shouldn't list any products that are >$10/month, but you can say that there are higher-priced products on the web site to which a given discount applies

It was fun to look into how the rules have been gradually changing :D

For currency other than USD, it is your responsibility to ensure the equivalent USD price at the time of posting is within the rules.
    ...
Only post offers that are under $7/month or equivalent recurring.

When posting offers, please include individual order links for each product that complies with LowEndTalk’s pricing limits. Should your billing system be unable to accommodate this, exceptions will be allowed.

absolutely. fixing it now. If you already ordered, open a ticket to fix.

also forgot the 33% for recurring originally, so probably i had tabs mixed up when making these or something. A few people got 33% recurring now, lucky for them :)

@tototo yea, tbf i have even missed they have been changing. the 7$ to 10$ is a good thing, inflation is a PITA. 10$ tho doesn't even get a lunch. 7$ in many places not even a beer in Finland.
We have to sell A LOT to make any money.

I wish I could like PulsedMedia but an interaction I had with them has severely put me off. They have some high-end plans with very very expensive upfront pricing and low monthly fees, more akin to a colo pricing structure where you have to buy the server and then pay less to store it. They also reserve the right to terminate your plan at any time. I inquired if they would refund the upfront fee if they terminated my plan and they said no, they would just keep the money. This policy just screams scam to me.

And I see in this thread they haven't improved their attitude since then.

  • *** #7218147544 SNATCHED – My girlfriend loves her shows. Like, loves them. Every time a new soap or movie dropped, she’d look at me with that little pout, “Babe, can you find it?” And of course, half the time it was buffering, missing, or behind a new sub.

One night I decided I’d had enough of seeing her disappointed. I set up a seedbox — stayed up late, reading guides, tweaking stuff until it worked perfectly. Next morning, I told her to try it.

She hit play. Instant stream. No lag, no waiting. She just looked at me, smiled, and said, “You’re the best.”

Now she’s happy, calm, and always has something to watch. And me? I get to enjoy peace, love, and a girlfriend who finally believes I can fix anything with a computer.

After grabbing a reasonably priced BF deal since I would never trust this company with any significant amount of money I went to log in, and behind the login page is another different login page with a different website style, where I can also log in with Twitter. Behind THAT login page was a 404. This is typical of the quality I have come to expect from PulsedMedia.

No 404 this time I tried it, maybe it's only the first time a new user logs in. What's up with the two different login screens?

Evidence of what, that I think you're a shit company? That is true.

If you don't want people to think you're a shit company don't be a shit company. Bugs happen, and this one isn't really bad, but when someone tells you a bug in your website, saying "none of that is true" is emblematic of what makes you a shit company. You have this condescending attitude always about everything. If you don't have time to fix bugs, I'm available for contracting work.

    You spoke about service originally.

Billing login as always has been available at: https://pulsedmedia.com/clients/index.php/login

But there is something you are correct avbout, we should direct straight to that link above instead of having also that page where you can login. Two separate login pages is redundant. The page now takes you to straight to the link above.

  • could have just said thanks to his original comment, good grief.

Pulsed media is a bit slow in comparison than my hostc and layer7 storage servers in terms of network speed but it does the job well.

Only reason I won't renew because of the 500 GB limit.

On a 4TB storage restrictions of 500GB is way too low for my liking.
