Hi @david -- rescue mode is actually a built-in feature within SolusVM, so unfortunately we can’t directly customize it on our end. That said, I’ll for sure send this feedback over to them, as I do agree that newer kernel support would definitely be beneficial for scenarios like the one you mentioned.
In the meantime, as a heads-up, we can always mount a custom ISO of your choice if ever needed, which can be a good workaround for certain use cases like this.
Hi @wp509666608 -- I usually go through these every day (or every other day) as time allows, so you’ll see it applied soon. In the meantime, feel free to keep using your VPS as normal -- there’s no downtime or interruption involved when we apply the double bandwidth update.

To answer your questions, yes, the price you signed up for is locked in and will remain the same upon renewal. As for the double bandwidth, that’s permanently attached to your VPS for as long as the service stays active, including renewals
