Uptime monitoring / status page recommendations for SaaS start-up
Hi,
I'm looking for a hosted uptime monitoring service (with status pages) to monitor a SaaS website I'm launching soon. I don't want to self host it (ie Uptime Kuma), I just want a decent service that is reliable with no/little "false positives", etc. I've used Pingdom and UptimeRobot in the past, and I was about to use UptimeRobot again but some of the threads here are making me hesitant to do so. I saw a good few people mention HetrixTools. I see statuspage.io used a lot, but I think $29/month is a bit much... I only need 10 monitors, probably less. Something under $10/month would be ideal. I suppose the most important part is that it checks from multiple locations, checks are once a minute, and that it's super reliable. Thanks.

I use HetrixTools and it matches all of your requirements. https://status.ptrdns.net/ shows how a status page would look, you can choose which monitors to show in the status page and thus have public and internal-only monitors.
HetrixTools (aff/non-aff) is my favorite.

Thanks all- I've been using a free HetrixTools account for the past couple hours- fantastic service and a great recommendation- really looking forward to using this and relying on it for uptime monitoring. So many nice little touches (thrown in for free) that other monitoring services don't have OR would normally charge for the extras. SOLD!
