I remember it not being allowed prior to the move to virtfusion, however it's available there in the control panel under Media -> CD/DVD-ROM
Sure that’s not Austria? I thought Australia was a fictional place?

No
Ubuntu 24.04 doesn't install with custom ROM - shuts down immediately.
The default ISO didn't work initially for me either (hence trying a custom one). SSHing with a keys fails, but I was able to get in by doing the initial setup with password SSH only.
I found custom ISOs also made the VNC session really, really slow - did you find this?
@NDTN - are custom ISOs supported under Virtfusion?
No idea about VNC with a custom ISO specifically as I didn't manage to get a custom ISO working and ended up installing the default Ubuntu 24.04.
But yes VNC has been pretty slow and clunky. SSH is working fine now though.

Disk R/W very snappy. Networks speed, well.. about what I've come to expect in Australia. I'm getting very fast pings from my home in Melbourne at least, so I'm happy with that.
Greencloud has got the concoction right - dependably consistent CPU and Disk I/O
Hmm. I still cannot add any there. Simply the ones which are added by greencloud
An ISO url may include 301 redirect URL. Debian ISO does. Virtfusion doesn't allow redirect url to be inserted.
Why does VirtFusion do that (for all providers, not just GC)? Every time I go to upload an ISO I have to manually figure out where the final redirection points to which is kinda annoying.
In Virtfusion > Media
Click on Custom CD/DVD
Type the URL of the iso and click on Insert. Then choose that from dropdown menu.
Neat. I missed that.
Skill issue
I'm finding when I boot from custom iso the install process is really slow (not sure if it caches the .iso somewhere or is somehow streaming on demand), and with the VNC connection dropping in and out, sometimes eventually failing to boot. If I do manage to get an iso to boot then often the VM will stop abruptly and/or not boot from HD after install. A re-image fixes this.
I've tried UEFI mode (instead of the default BIOS) with auto config disabled (both in Virtfusion), didn't seem to affect anything.
I tried Proxmox 8 and 9 ISOs, going to continue testing with Debian ISOs and see if I can get it to boot.
If installing from Custom ISOs is not supported by GC, happy to use their images - but thought I'd try anyway
i think if you load a custom iso, you may want to give it a few mins for it to sync up on the host node?
But, it is interesting development to see custom iso option available. Probably may need some finishing touches.
Last I recall they avoided this cause of Licensing - as users would jump to install windows and it would break their SPLA.
Thanks
Gave it about 30 mins to sync up, not sure if Virtfusion stores the ISOs near/on the same host not as the guest VMs but it didn't seem to help.
Makes sense re: licensing, I remember when everyone was installing Windows
