I am looking for stable machine. I'm making monitoring and latency/packet loss project ("b2b saas startup" if you are a linkedin brain rot), assume all of the VM will be near continuously running mtr or ping every half minute.
I do not wish for it to frequently have false outage alerts, it's preferable more for me to have straight 24 hours of downtime rather than 1 minute of downtime 1440 times.
DDOS prot. not necessary and would prefer to not be in a similar network to those who frequently get attacked due to the use case.
NAT is OK, even cheaper is better with more locations, but if the shared IP frequently is attacked it is not ideal. All recommendations are welcome
