still waiting for delivery of super baguettes
There might be people specifically looking for RBX. if it's in a good location, I can pay extra.
Good luck
In BHS the HDD models are old SYS-LEs, in previous years OVH offered 2x8 and 2x12 TB HDD models for 29.9 and 39.9 euros on BlackFriday.
And upgraded LE-B-s are SYS-LEs too.
In 2022 SYS-LE-1 was 29.9 euros with 1230 v6, 32 GB RAM and 1.2 TB NVMe. LE-3 was 64 GB RAM and 1270 v6 for 39.9 euros.
In 2023 prices kept but NVMe increased to 1920 GB. And there was a small issue on OVH side that caused that after server appeared on API, order went well by PlanCode on OVH site and for a few hours until OVH not fixed the location was selectables (RBX, GRA os SBG, not only EU or CA).
Always nice to have an update from our OVH historian
@adns really should get the new LET member title OVH historian.
choucroute, choucroute. More Choucroute d'Alsace for @Hitori0221
('m not a fan of flammkueche anymore)
Actually, I somehow like SBG best in OVHs world.
Is there a story behind the "anymore"?
Not really. Like(d) it somewhat but it gets really boring fast. No depth in there.
Also: The Strassbourg way of refilling your plate is beyond my eating habits.
I love Strassbourg though (city).
But: i would be so gross to try a Choucroute d'Alsace (the whole traditional terrine, don't know the name for that one) in/on a baguette.
(Yes, I can put anything on baguette, love the Catalan way as well. Tortilla Espagnola on baguette is nice)
Now I will get a "Merde, those Germans" for sure.
The only word I understood in this was baguette
@barbarza This is important OVH server talk. You have to deceiver the secret wordings though.
Boys,
KS-A - Order Now - button broken
Suspicious
I am curious, "The Strasbourg way of refilling your plate", care to elaborate? I live near Strasbourg and would like to know what you mean (since there are more than a thousand restaurants, I doubt there is a unique "Strasbourg way" imho).
Flammekueche/Tarte Flambée (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flammekueche) is usually served on a wooden board (straight out of the wooden-fire oven), so you refill your plate yourself, sharing with family or friends, and there are several variants to try.
And after a Choucroute, you usually don't need to refill, you are supposed to be (very) well fed, and struggle to find some room for dessert
.
What is unique in SBG is the OVH way to burn the DC while cooking Flammekueche.
At the time I had been to Strassbourg several times (though that is ages ago) you had several Tarte Flambée restaurants (maybe you have a different name for those serving Tarte Flambée) where you got a new board with a new Tarte Flambée if you did not indicate that your were finished (same as with Kölsch (a local beer variant) in a traditional bar in Cologne)
Yepp, fully true. That's why I can also only consider eating these kind of food in winter time (same with the traditional winter food of Kohl&Pinkel here in Germany).
Yes, you are right, it was popular, but less nowadays, most restaurants are now asking if you want more, and which variant.
Anybody else seeing api errors?
2025/11/08 19:37:34 Failed to get datacenter availabilities: Get "https://ca.api.ovh.com/1.0/auth/time": dial tcp 198.27.91.67:443: i/o timeoutfrom time to time since I started using the API last year, but it's usually one error and then next query is ok.
