My KS-LE-C had the 0.00€ 2x2TB HDD upgrade validated and it will happen on the 17th. Nice. Just kept refreshing the page until it went thru lol

    upgrade, how come ?

I guess on some servers there was the ability to add 2x2TB HDD's to the server and the cost was 0.00€. It would let me make the order but when I was asked to validate it, it would just log me out. But I kept trying and it eventually went through.

I know how to pay it using api but ovh infra team cancelled my upgrades saying its kimsufi servers.. so it not really relevant

so its all about api,, there is no option on control panel ?

I did it via the control panel. When you click your server, under Hardware I had a button to "Upgrade Storage".

Here is ovh response for a scheduled upgrade:

    Dear Raz
Thank you for contact OVHCloud support.

We’d like to inform you that upgrades on the Kimsufi server range within EcoCloud are not possible. Our infrastructure specialists recently identified a temporary issue in our product catalog that incorrectly allowed upgrade options for this range. This has since been resolved, and the original policy remains in place.

Currently, only servers from the Advance Gen-3, Scale, and High Grade ranges support resource upgrades and expansions.

The intervention already scheduled and the respetive order will be cancelled by our Infrastruture department.

    (pardon my French)

@FAT32 I think we both had a lovely surprise today with OVHs new Asia pricing.

I think @loay got two NVMe extra on a HDD order in LIM iirc.

  • It's always worth it: sitting and waiting for delivery, being disappointed, winning lottery, etc. I mean, we've been waiting for this all year, haven't we?
