HostSlick machine offline for no reason

My HostSlick machine went offline some 2 hours ago, right before I was going to manually migrating services away from it...

Beszel monitoring:

So I checked with their panel and it says "Offline" and there is no related status log. I also found there was a similar offline event on October 21st, see: d8b9c8196180800f20ba9d3afc35c30f.png

Created tickets right away but haven't got any response yet.

Any one else with the same issue with HostSlick?

  • Machine just recovered (stated Online in their web panel) around 8 minutes ago. Still nothing relevant in status log. Ticket not replied.

  • Ticket answered shortly after my last comment. They said:

    we see VPS node went ready-only, we have investigated and applied fix asap and have rebooted the node.
    the vps should be online again meanwhile

    I suppose they were saying "VPS node went read-only".

    But still, nothing relevant in status log.
    I think their status log is totally broken. If I did not bother to create a ticket, I wouldn't even know the reason why it went offline.

  • FYI, the server went offline definitely for a reason, what you meant was "unknown reason".

  • Perhaps you should request a refund from PayPal!
