C1V hosting price increase €2.50/month or €30.00/year on all VPS, VPN, and Hosting services
I received this email from C1V hosting, and wanted to make sure that the community was aware.
Please note the 90 day period in which cancellations [withdrawals] are required, no matter when your service expires.

ti informiamo che, a partire dal prossimo rinnovo del tuo servizio, C1V Hosting – Lumanex S.r.l. apporterà un aggiornamento ai canoni dei servizi VPS, VPN e Hosting, come previsto dall’art. 11 delle Condizioni Generali di Contratto.
Negli ultimi mesi i costi di infrastruttura, energia e connettività sono aumentati in modo significativo a livello di mercato, e parallelamente C1V Hosting – Lumanex S.r.l. ha avviato un percorso di miglioramento tecnico e qualitativo dei propri servizi.
Abbiamo potenziato i nostri datacenter, sistemi di ridondanza e rete di distribuzione, con l’obiettivo di garantire prestazioni più elevate, stabilità superiore e maggiore resilienza per tutti i servizi attivi.
Per sostenere questi investimenti e continuare a offrire standard di affidabilità e sicurezza di livello professionale, a partire dal prossimo rinnovo, il canone dei servizi VPS, VPN e Hosting verrà adeguato di +2,50 €/mese (o +30,00 €/anno per i piani annuali). Il corrispettivo dell'aumento si intende IVA esclusa.
Il nuovo prezzo entrerà in vigore automaticamente, salvo recesso esercitabile entro 90 giorni dalla presente comunicazione.
Se non desideri accettare la modifica, puoi esercitare il diritto di recesso senza penali entro 90 giorni, accedendo alla tua area clienti e selezionando la voce “I miei Servizi → Recesso” sul nostro sito, alternativamente, contattandoci tramite il portale di assistenza helpdesk.c1vhosting.it.
Nel caso in cui tu decida di esercitare il diritto di recesso entro il predetto termine (90 giorni dalla comunicazione), C1V Hosting – Lumanex S.r.l. provvederà a rimborsare integralmente al Cliente tutti gli importi versati a titolo di corrispettivo per il Servizio successivamente all’adeguamento, entro 14 (quattordici) giorni dalla data di comunicazione del recesso, utilizzando il medesimo mezzo di pagamento che hai scelto per il pagamento.
Eventuali ulteriori importi anticipati saranno parimenti restituiti, ai sensi della normativa vigente e delle condizioni contrattuali applicabili
Invece, in assenza di recesso entro tale termine, la modifica si intenderà accettata e pienamente efficace.

Dear Customer,
We would like to inform you that, starting with your next service renewal, C1V Hosting – Lumanex S.r.l. will update the fees for VPS, VPN, and Hosting services, as required by Article 11 of the General Contract Conditions.
In recent months, infrastructure, energy, and connectivity costs have increased significantly across the market, and in parallel, C1V Hosting – Lumanex S.r.l. has embarked on a process of technical and qualitative improvement of its services.
We have strengthened our data centers, redundancy systems, and distribution network, with the aim of ensuring higher performance, greater stability, and greater resilience for all active services.
To support these investments and continue to offer professional-level reliability and security standards, starting with your next renewal, the fees for VPS, VPN, and Hosting services will be increased by €2.50/month (or €30.00/year for annual plans). The price increase excludes VAT.
The new price will take effect automatically, unless you cancel within 90 days of this notice.
If you do not wish to accept the change, you may exercise your right of withdrawal without penalty within 90 days by logging into your customer area and selecting "My services → Withdrawal" on our website, or by contacting us through the support portal helpdesk.c1vhosting.it.
If you decide to exercise your right of withdrawal within the aforementioned period (90 days from notification), C1V Hosting – Lumanex S.r.l. will fully refund the Customer all amounts paid for the Service following the adjustment, within 14 (fourteen) days of the date of notification of withdrawal, using the same payment method you used.
Any additional advance payments will be refunded in accordance with applicable law and the applicable contractual terms and conditions.
However, if no cancellation is made within this period, the change will be deemed accepted and fully effective.

Probably not many, but maybe some, like me, have forgot they even had one.
I have/had a $8 a year 4GB RAM VPS that I had forgot about and just cancelled.
If memory serves it's a perfume shop.
That was @cociu in Romania, @c1vhosting was the garage DC in Rome.
I had a VPS from them that I transferred to someone recently, tbh it was good enough for the price, but add 30eur/y to that and you would've needed some amazing deals for that to be worth it...

In the great business mind of Lucas it seems to make sense to have a flat €2.50/month or €30.00/year flat fee on all products no matter if it is just a VPN, a 1 GB VPS, or a dedicated server.
Like Mama always said "You can't fix stupid no matter how much money you throw at it".
If you say multiple times for a man to not use cheap cocaine but he still use it (for that extra kick you know) - it is his problem. Fck that.
I wish them good luck, but there are quite a few VPS available from decent low-ish end providers here like e.g. @DeluxHost or @Chunkserve (and others).

C1V hosting should pay you €2.50/month or €30.00/year to use their 'services'. Absolute trash tier provider. Worst I've tried, and I've seen a lot of providers come and go since 2011.

Don't really see the relevance of stating the 90 day acceptance window, other than maybe regulatory compliance. I don't think any service had a multi-term aspect, e.g. monthly billing with a multi-month commitment, so you're still free to leave end of term even after 90 days.
Ironically my 8€/Y 1TB service, which had been working flawlessly for my use case over the summer months was down for a week in October and just went offline again yesterday. Maybe not the best time to announce a 8€ > 30€ price hike

When i left my apartments in Bangkok, In Thailand, i left soo big baaag of goods near of trash station , quick it has been taken by someone !
