How to monitor vps use.

Hello Everyone.

How a Vps provider can find client's activity on vps server.

To ensure that client is using the vps for fair uses only not for illegal activities like spam and other prohibited things.

Is there any specific tool to monitor for solusvm based virtualization system ?

    Solusvm is not a virtualisation.

  • I hear munin is pretty good at that

I personally don't have experience with Xen, but for KVM, you can use Observium/Munin. For OpenVZ, I remember seeing something around here but can't seem to remember the name.

Edit : The OpenVZ one is Nodewatch.

  • Thanks every one for your kind info.

  • Sorry to thread hi-jack but is there a similar script to VPSMon/Node watch that works with KVM? We use a few custom scripts to check a few things in libvirt but something like VPSmon would be nice.

  • vpsmon is fantastic getting better all the time.
see they are Denial of Service Attack Protection soon too!
