@keyzal said: Note: Do not purchase this product; this company is suspected of false advertising. My previous VPS advertised support for DC2, but now it no longer provides that service. Please be aware.

Hi @keyzal -- I understand where you’re coming from and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. For our 2025 11.11 promos, we’ve deployed brand-new nodes designated specifically for this event. At this moment, DC-02 inventory is only allocated for product id's 918, 919, and 920 (in other words, the 2 GB RAM and higher 11.11 plans).

When we run major promotions, we plan and dedicate capacity to specific nodes ahead of time. There are business and logistical reasons for this (but that’s a topic for another day). We’re actively expanding capacity, and once additional DC-02 inventory becomes available for general use, we’ll reintroduce it across other plans that previously included it, and if capacity/inventory allows, we don't mind allowing migrations too. But we're just not there yet.

To clarify, this situation applies only to DC-02. We generally avoid setting too many restrictions -- and anyone who’s worked with RackNerd can tell you we’re a “yes” and “make it happen” type of company, and we truly do our best to go above and beyond for our customers. That said, DC-02 is a unique case: capacity there is limited and demand is extremely high. The new nodes that have capacity in that location are set aside exclusively for 11.11 for now. General availability may return soon, but at this moment, that’s where things stand, so if you’re specifically looking for DC-02 be sure to grab one of the above mentioned plans.

I've been in LAX DC2 for years now. No issues.
EDIT: Oh cool, it's now in English, and it is a nothing burger.
    Thanks for the tip.

Thank you for your reply. Before I bought the VPS, it stated that migration to DC2 was supported. Now they have inventory but won't let me migrate it. I think this is fraud.

Personally I've always considered migration as a courtesy not a requirement. I guess I just like to avoid disappointment.
I hope you get moved to LAX DC2 eventually, but with BF coming up I can understand why RN would want to use "High Demand" products as new sales. Best of luck.

Hi @ElChile -- glad to hear our Los Angeles DC-02 location has been treating you well! Always nice seeing long-term users enjoying solid performance :)

We typically don’t mind migrations by the way, as long as the target location is in stock, we’re usually able to make it happen. DC-02 is just a unique case for now. I replied in more detail above, but in short, the new nodes currently available there are allocated specifically for the 11.11 event. We hope to open it back up for general availability and other plans once we add additional capacity in this location, but at the current moment, the best way to get in DC-02 if there's an immediate need is to grab one of these deals (pid id's 918, 919, or 920).

Hi @TrK -- sure does! IPv6 is now live in quite a few of our locations already, and we actually expanded that list not too long ago. I went over this in another LET post recently, but in short, it’s actively growing, and we are making an extra effort/push on this recently.

Bookmark this page: https://my.racknerd.com/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/25/Do-you-provide-IPv6-.html and keep an eye on it, as we update this article as soon as new locations go live on native IPv6 support. Expect to see more and more locations added to that list in the coming weeks as we continue rolling it out. Each site has quite a number of physical nodes, so it’s just a bit of backend work per location we have to do, but we’re pushing through it.

Hope you're doing well by the way, always glad to see you participating in our threads B)

Thank you for your reply, but this isn't the first time I've applied for migration service. I've applied for at least three months, and each time I've been rejected. It just goes to show that you have absolutely no regard for the rights and demands of long-term users.

Migration is not a right it's a courtesy from the host...... You can always get a new one......

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand, but the purchase page clearly stated that migration to all regions was supported. How is that not a benefit? If it hadn't been stated, I wouldn't have made this request.

Can you share some screenshot of proof of the same stating you are entitled for migration to every DC RN have services with, if it's indeed the case I will retract my statement, I've been with providers(other than RN as well) and it's always the courtesy if i want to migrate to another location.

Thank you again for your reply. Here are screenshots of my original service purchase (please forgive me for only being able to find the Chinese interface) and the customer service's reply.
