A New CubePath PoP Appears in Virginia and It’s Just the Beginning

CubePathCubePath Member, Patron Provider

We’ve just launched our new Point of Presence in Virginia, USA!

A new strategic location joins our global network, designed to boost Anti-DDoS capacity and network performance across North America.

For now, this PoP focuses entirely on network and mitigation infrastructure (no VPS or Bare Metal… yet 👀).
But who knows? If enough people ask for it, we might just make it happen 😉

In the meantime, you can already deploy powerful VPS with us at https://cubepath.com/vps
and explore everything CubePath offers at https://cubepath.com

We’ve attached a few pictures, curious to hear what you think of our newest setup!

    We see 100Mbps cables.
    Why not 100Gbps fibers?

  • Congrats for the expansion. But I think we all can agree that we want moaaaaaarrrrr VPS

I had seen Mikrotik just released out a new 400Gbps switch.

But with all the Arista's there why not just do the routing on them?

    🤷‍♀️

  • Unfortunately, there is no vps.

Ethernet is simply used to connect equipment to our Mikrotik management switches. We use 100Gbps ports for upstream connections, as you can see from our three yellow fiber cables on several devices (for redundancy).

We really like Mikrotik for what it’s meant for, MGMT and OOBM access.

For routing, we use Arista, with all equipment running at 100G, 40G, and 400G.
(We don’t have 400G at this location, but we do in many others)

    Mikrotik is garbage.
    Therefore, the rack contains garbage.

That’s what inexperienced players say. With proper knowledge, you can do insane things, and that’s exactly what we do.

yoursunny must be written in all lower case, even if it's the first word in a sentence.
Other examples of such words include eBay and iPhone.

are the people running the Aisuru botnet doing insane things? A decent bit of their capacity is from compromised Microtik devices.
