  • AMD Turin 2.7k ATLEAST singlecore VPS with
    16 GB DDR5 RAM
    4c minimum, 6c recommended
200 GB NVMe ATLEAST(256 preferred and 500 recommended, thanks to netcup for spoiling me)
2.5Gbps(10Gbps preferred) atleast @ minimum 25 TB(likely will use less than 10TB most months)
    Germany/UK
    1GB/sec 4k IO(R+W) and 8GB/sec 1m(R+W) minimum
DDoS protection highly recommended but not necessary.

half decent support(wont be bothering you much)
lax CPU policy(will mostly be an idler with sometimes maxing CPU for a few hours but thats like once a month or two)

5 euros a month. No VAT(I'm not from EU) with possibility to upgrade later to 1y.

I am not sure where to post this yet but... it is now official, I am BACK for BF2025 after reaching an agreement with Jon Biloh.

Let the deal requests roll in so providers know what we want!

I’m going to try and be disciplined this year, but will probably fail. After last year seeing BF become Cyber Monday become Xmas become New Years become the Provider event, I’m thinking I won’t go too hard on BF itself.

Would like a 2-4tb storage VPS I think but at a super good price. Probably doesn’t need a lot of CPU or RAM.

So, the $7/year deal is old news now, what else do you all want to see? Aside from more bandwidth (that’s coming next), what are you guys hoping for?

Really enjoying my CA Dedi with you. Always room for another :)

  • $2/yr ipv4 NAT vps just to use as an SSH jumphost or a $5/yr non-NAT. US location preferred.

  • $5 per month 5 TB storage VPS with 20TB BW.

  • I want to know how long the person has been in business and whether it's owned hardware or not
    That's all

  • 3-Year $100 Deals

  • Or, ideally:

    • 1 or 2 core VDS with 2TB Hard Drive with 10TB of bandwidth - i.e. "has always-there cpu to stream video, has storage for the videos, and has bandwidth to stream all month "

    • 4 core VPS with 2TB Hard Drive with 10TB of bandwidth - i.e. "has enough cpu power to not go away entirely, has storage for the mp4 files, and has bandwidth to stream all month"

Some interesting S3 deals would be nice

What would be interesting? Would love to hear more on s3 needs.

I'm using ente for my family for family photos and it has the option of using 3 S3 buckets (2 hot 1 cold) for replication. I'd love to diversify providers but not have to worrry about being nickel and dimed for API calls, egress, etc.

  • How about a lifetime deal for a Pro account at Perplexity?

$7.50 per tb to high? Even if it came with only the charge for storage itself? There would be server side encryption and also client server encryption. Multipart handled serverside etc.

What s3 providers are you using now?

My company is FairForge LLC we are DBA under stored. You can find my website and business info under stored.ge. All you can do for now is signup in the interest form. But itll give you an idea of our offering.

We are focused on opensource development but stored is our commercial offering for compute and storage that we need.

For sure not trying to sell you just gauging if others even need it.

If you are interested I can spin up an instance with ente on it and some storage and you can play around with it.

    Thanks for your input regardless!

I found the site on your profile; it's looking nice! Can you get s3 without a VPS? It looked like its paired with a VPS on the site (which I'm OK there right now - i don't want to move my ente install). if so i'll definitely keep it in mind!

@mbjones S3 will be available standalone. I’ll make that more clear on the site.

Thank you for the site encouragement and feedback.
