I never used DigitalOcean, but in the past I've used Linode and Vultr a fair amount. I really liked Linode before Akamai bought them. But Vultr has better performance.
i guess digitalocean because it is choosen right away above (no provision to select since it is THE BEST) where between linode and vultr, there is checkbox which implies it is optional.

vultr seems better to me price and network wise.
digitalocean comes second.
linode was actually great 5-6 years ago, but now they bit lacking in the race. price-wise.
Linode has somewhat goes downhill after akamai bought them. Previously was big enough but not corpo big. Now go full blown corpo and turn to worse. Between do and vultr i prefer vultr.
linode sucks outside US/EU
vultr has been the most consistent for me

Vultr is good but it's better get a dedicated server and do what u want black friday is coming u can get them cheap

In my experience, Vultr is better than Digital Ocean in terms of performance.
Vultr > Linode.
But this was years ago. I've yet to spin up something on either of them and I haven't due to BW constraints + pricing.
They are fine to learn if you have a small VPS and your cost is below $15 but beyond that.. mmmm yeah nah.
Could say same for vultr before they got big. They have good uptime, and that's it. In my personal experience, they treat their customers terribly.
Linode customer support is okay-ish; wouldn't be my top choice, but eh. Also lots of random reboots due to host node (I don't think they auto-migrate?).
DO always had good experiences with. Good support. Great uptime. Performance on dedicated vcpus are fine, the shared vcpus are a bit meh.
Vultr all the way. No bullshit support, performant machines and decent network. Plus a good api.
Hetzner i never used but i recommend ovh bcoz i m using them from. Last 10 years and also another is colocrossing using them from last 3 years

Probably not.
Last time I was with vultr they had e5 4 series xeons.
They may have SP in their regular line or maybe at best some epyc but I have I haven't used them so don't take what I say as gospel.
The big thing for me for vultr was their network and their ease of use.

Running a local news website on Vultr, Really like the option of using HDD for block storage on Vultr. wp-content/uploads is mounted on one on Vultr. ( Around 1TB )

Do not know which one is better for me and my use cases, Linode or Vultr.
