Had great experience with Netim. Never heard of Openprovider, just checked out their site; it seems like an interesting company with decent pricing. Have you been using them for a long time ?
Sounds like porkbun has a few corrective actions starting with a credit card expiry notification email.
Most services send out a renewal notice 30/60 days in advance, the CC check should be done then.
I don't necessarily think they should not run an expired card, it may work. I've been charged by Microsoft (since like 2018) and Logmein on several years expired credit cards (same number, new expiry). There's probably some relaxation of rules for things thought of as subscriptions.

Sounds like we found your case, the issue has nothing to do with an expired card. There was a block in place due to some phishing activity found on one of your domains. You never followed up to our request for more info after that.
Don't be a dick. Normal company behavior is to send you an email and suspend the service until payment is correctly made. Not ban you instantly from everything.

And I intend to move all domains out.
Because this points to even bigger automation problem you guys have.
Let me explain why.
You guys received a phising complaint, with 24 hour domain suspension timeline, but suspended the domain immediately.
As attached in full email chain for that, resolution was provided and notified.
Account was than suspended?
Sadly, it's even bigger problem than card expiry.
Because I don't know if you guys really verify phising complaint manually or not.

Don't try and put others down when this is wholly on you... Porkbun have had small issues in the past with some automation, but they sorted them - this isn't one of those times. I've used them for years and out of a lot of the registrars they are still up there as one of the easiest to handle.
Older than you. First you wrote it was because of expired card, now because of phishing. Just mad trying to destroy reputation of some good company.

Go ahead and ask @eddie_at_porkbun when was information given for account blockage? It was given in the latest email when they unblocked account.
At-least learn to be impartial till story unfolds.

Should phishing be handled by domain registrars? Shouldn't complaints be sent towards the company hosting said data for investigation? I thought registrars don't need to take action, unless imposed by ICANN or some legal court.
No, they must take action. If they dont ICANN will act upon them not following through with registrar agreements.
That's how it should be and was before.
Unfortunately, that's not the case anymore, and registrars are paying attention to it now.
Problem is some to prevent headache have put automations that don't even require manual review.
I bet, you put phishing complaint on any domain registered on porkbun and their automation will suspend the domain.
So then what are the registrars that don't automate complaints?
I still use Porkbun, but started moving some of my domains ever since they shared data with Google.
Honestly there's a good case I think for paying premium with a less popular registrar just as a high level choice. Flavor of the year registrars are usually that because they're low priced, which then causes them to see a massive increase of customers, which forces them to automate or speed through things. Just not sitting in the middle of a fast flowing river may be lesson one.
Of course, not to say more expensive registrars aren't doing the same thing and just pocketing the profits. It's just probably a good place to start.
I believe acting on registrar level is too much. On a complaint for phishing content, even other services like email or communication of staff, all is disabled when registrar takes action. This is too harsh. The issue should be addressed at the hosting company which holds that very data.
I agree, unfortunately reality is different. Its not all black and white, some grey areas but usually registrars cave quite easily.

They un-suspended the domain and maybe then suspended my account? IDK lol
I mean who keeps checking domain account unless it's renewal pending.
We usually get one complaint (or may be two) or so in a year (across all domains).
Could be anything phishing, abuse, spam and anything you can think of that can relate as abuse.
So far, no issues with Namecheap, and it's my oldest registrar account across all.
Id say internet.bs comes to mind. But probably better off using ccTlds, registries and registrars not answering to ICANN.
So you don't know if they sent additional emails? Maybe that's why they tried to verify the email address for sharing abuse reports?
