Mailgun increasing prices from 1st December

Alright, looking for some alternatives. Any good EU based alternatives to Mailgun with less than 2$ for 1k? Just got an email today:

Hi there,

We’re glad you’ve been enjoying the flexibility of our Flex plan. We’ve been busy making improvements to the reliability, scalability, and deliverability of our platform and releasing new features.

To reflect these improvements, we'll be updating our Flex plan pricing on December 1, 2025, from $1.00 per 1,000 messages to $2.00 per 1,000 messages. You don’t need to take any action. Your account will automatically be updated to the new pricing on December 1, and you'll see this reflected on your next invoice.

If you’d like to review other plan options that include additional features and higher send volumes, we recommend making any changes before January 1 to ensure a seamless transition.

Please reply to this email with any questions.

Thank you for being a Mailgun customer,
The Mailgun Team

    A small 100% price increase.

Mailgun wasn't very good when we used it on NameCrane and BuyVM. The delivery was very spotty and it was quite expensive. We were paying... $80/m? for a few hundred thousand emails.

We dropped Mailgun late last year or early this year after Mike broke his back getting things choochin' on CraneMail's IP's.

If you have a Cranemail account you could send off that?

We dropped MailGun for SES a while ago after their deliverability quality took a one-way trip to the nether realm! Now they're increasing their pricing? For what exactly?

To recover the revenue they lost when customers quit due to bad deliverability.

    1. Lose half customers -> 2. Double the price -> Goto 1. This way you will never lose revenue.

  • Yes, everywhere, thats why i want to build my own service with cheap price.

  • Pulled cpanel. Probably forcing bigger customers to choose fixed price plans.
