I am thinking about this lately: What's considered a dream job?

One that allows you to buy and idle 32 servers with GreenCloudVPS.

Now that you mention... ya somehow I have to agree with it. But arguably if you take home say $3k a month, paying $10 x 32 = $320 a year for idler sounds... not too bad? (1% of annual income)

Assuming one is faster than MJJs to grab those flash sale codes.

In my case, that never happens for me

The "spin the wheel" was a brilliant touch to keep the hype train rolling. I was F5'ing with the best of them but the flash sale gods weren't on my side this time—c'est la vie!

At one point it starts to have that VirMach vibe, missed that guy but glad to see someone is coming with similar energy to offer us some crazy fun and hype

I also remember a certain Romanian provider with some legendary offers and the vibes around that time as well. Some of the Flash sales in this thread were quite the frenzy where speed was of the essence (and surprisingly I think WHMCS held up nicely and there were no complaints of 500s...)

Aah... those moments when one is all caught up in the thick of things.

@plumberg said: Half the fun is the chase. I love being part of the frenzy

Out of every other providers they are the one that knows human psychology very well :joy: I am no longer getting any new VPS from them but still hold 10+ at this moment.

Absolutely, and I still regauard™ him as a biz miracle. But holding 10+ VMs is insane, do you still pay the bill in cash?

Yes but you know there's deals like the legendary 8888 FAT32 plan that's still working to this day... and it is even on Ryzen now

    • 8 vCPU + 8GB RAM + 80GB NVMe + 8 IPv4 + 8TB Bandwidth for $8/yr

Got it in 2018, still waiting for someone that dares to price match :D

I liked the VirMach randomizer because I could actually get those VPSes. They'd pick a random number of CPU cores, RAM, disk space and bandwidth, in a random location, and have the offer available for five minutes or so before switching to a new one. Some deals were strange (like a VPS with 16GB RAM but only 15GB disk space) but others were great value.

I also won a CPU (Ryzen 5900x) and other stuff (like Noctua case fans) from VirMach back in 2021, which I'm still using today. Probably the best prize I've won.

Yes it is... I am collecting all these Vanilla bugs though, will perform some maintenance earlier next year.

Is this actually a bug? I always thought it was a intended feature, after all, thanks hit the limit but never overflow.

I'd guess it's a limitation in the database schema, and the column just needs to be changed to a larger data type. They probably never expected someone to get so many likes.
