Any difference in upgrade probability between locations?
The closer to the baguette center the more upgrades?

I think LIM, GRA and RBX have the most upgrades. But that's my experience. No idea about Poland or UK.

  • I've a KS-5 in Poland, got 2x 4TB instead of 2x2TB. 32GB Ram - no upgrade there, also no CPU upgrade :D

A Server with SSD / NVME and 2x4TB, 64 Gig ram would be nice :D

I don't understand their ipv4 policy, in germany i can't order a second ipv4 for my KS-Stor but for the KS-5 in Poland it's possible.....

Talk about past years lottery! :D

What was the average available and the best lotteries in the past year deals and which location?

    • LE-A: RBx: upgraded CPU e3-1245 v2, upgraded RAM 32 GB, upgraded network IPv6 1/1 Gbps
    • LE-B: GRA Upgraded NVMe 1200, 1290 GB, upgraded RAM 64 GB, upgraded CPU 1270 v6 and downgraded 1230 v6

What about others? Are there any upgrades LE-B NVMe in FRA except e3-1245 v6?

LE-B's drive was 1920 instead of 1290, also the default was 1245 v5 instead of 1245 v6, so I consider 1230 v6 an upgrade as well at least on the CPU side, but if you somewhat need a GPU, you could say both 1230 v6 and 1270 v6 are a downgrade, and the only real upgrade would be 1245 v6 which I remember was pretty rare.

Ahh yes, 1920 vs 1290 was a typo.

In which tasks can be this IGPU be useful? I think that not AI.

Previous experience was GRA, RBX and SBG has high chances but in Mystery deal there were good ones in FRA. So probably chances increasing in FRA as it is a bigger DC and 6--10 yrs old servers appears from there on Kimsufi range, which got higher drives in previous.

SBG has been horrendous for lottery for me.

I know some people use it for transcoding when hosting a media server or some crap like that, but I haven't personally dug down to that rabbit hole, and maybe use it to AFK some games, which I have done occasionally, I noticed that some games don't need a whole lot of GPU power, almost non at all actually, however they just wouldn't boot without one.
