Fair point! Just to clarify — not all our offers are above $10. Some smaller plans fit within the rule, while the higher ones just scale with specs 😊

High-quality network bandwidth is quite expensive, as our operating costs are also significantly higher.

  • Why the yabs result tells EPYC Genoa?

Your looking glass blocks my residential IP, but was able to connect via a VPN.

The looking glass IP is from SpartanHost and is downstream of Neoprotect which is downstream of Datacamp. ( https://bgp.tools/prefix/193.218.200.0/24#connectivity )

What subnet or network is used by clients?

Was looking for a Seattle provider as a mirror for some of our sites so looked around a bit. All low bandwidth so I don't care about that, but not sure if the looking glass is representative of what you're offering since it doesn't include any Chinese optimized routing from what I can see.

The benchmark detects "EPYC Genoa" due to the CPU virtualization mode in use.
We’ve optimized the configuration to deliver the best performance and compatibility for all VPS instances.

The actual host CPU is AMD Ryzen 9 9900X, which you can confirm from the clock frequency (~4.4 GHz).
The reported name doesn’t impact your VPS performance in any way.

hanks for the detailed feedback — really appreciate you taking the time to check the routes.

The access issue you encountered is related to Cloudflare’s security filtering.
We do have some regions temporarily restricted from accessing our web for abuse prevention purposes.

Our actual VPS network includes AS9929 (China Unicom premium) and CMIN2 (China Mobile CN2) routes, which are optimized for mainland China — providing lower latency and more stable connectivity than standard international transit.

My suggestion would be to try one of our VPS plans directly to test the full network performance.
If it doesn’t meet your expectations, you can request a full refund within 24 hours — no worries at all. 😊

Does that turn on CPU flags Genoa has that Ryzen doesn't and lead to application instability?

    That’s a great point.
The virtualization layer doesn’t actually enable any unsupported Genoa-specific CPU flags — it’s just how the hypervisor identifies the virtual CPU model.
The host CPU (Ryzen 9 9900X) capabilities define what’s exposed to the guest, so everything stays stable and fully compatible.

We tested this configuration extensively to balance performance and compatibility, so no worries about instruction-level issues.

Seattle Premium Network just got stronger!
Every VPS now comes with 20Gbps/s DDoS protection by default, and you can upgrade to a massive 200Gbps/s shield for even greater security.

    @Tudcloud

Perhaps the monthly pricing of $3? for SEA.PRE.1C1G
leads us to praise this wave of generosity from you?
I'm curious about what kind of business professionals would purchase your product given its high pricing. For users outside China, it offers limited practical value—this product positioning seems beneficial only to those within China.

    Thanked by 1Tudcloud
  • TudcloudTudcloud Member, Patron Provider

It’s not only specifically optimized only for China — regular routes are generally less friendly to the Asia-Pacific region, including China, so we added this optimization. You can check the results in the LG test.

Additionally, by using the promo code LET20, you can get a lifetime recurring discount, bringing the price down to $4.80/month.

  • I live in China and have home broadband access from three different broadband ISP (China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile).

Using traceroute, I didn't see any special optimizations on the Looking Glass test IP address 193.218.200.198, and the ASN is the standard tier. Can you confirm if this test IP is correct?

    Thanked by 1Tudcloud
  • BTW, the looking glass's traceroute is also broken, throwing an error:
Warning: proc_open(): posix_spawn() failed: No such file or directory in /www/wwwroot/lg.sea.cmin2.tudcloud.com/lookingglass/LookingGlass.php on line 317

Yes, all routes are built on premium connections to China. To enhance overall service reliability, we’ve added DDoS protection — this may slightly increase latency, which we admit is a form of compromise.

We sincerely apologize for the earlier traceroute issue, which has now been fully resolved. We truly appreciate your prompt feedback. After you place your order, please feel free to reach out to us — we’ll gladly offer you 2 months of complimentary service as a token of our appreciation.
