Singapore Local Connectivity Options ( Between 2 Datacenter )
Hello Everyone,
So, i am looking for L1, dark fiber whatever available for interconnevity between 2 datacenter with best latency possible.
Please suggest me some decent providers, having good latency and uptime guarantee.
From SG1, Equinix to SIN1, Iron Mountain Datacenter.
Since singapore colocation prices are very high,
And Equinix SG1 doesnt even have space anymore.
So my plan is to take half rack in SG1 Equinix and rest racks in IMDC, or others who offer good price.
And then connect each other using local dark fiber.
Distance between 2 DC is about 15-20KM
So i think latency should be good, but i am not sure.
Please suggest us if this plan is good or we should look something else.
I have considered Johor, Malaysia but latency is around 2ms between Johor to SG1
And,
SIN1, Iron Mountain Datacenter has very limited options for connectivity.
So building network infra there is not an option. Equinix is best choice for that.
I am open for suggestions.
Anyone already owning network infra in singapore, please help us and shared your exprience.

Usually the DC themselves offer L2 lines to Equinix or Global Switch.
You can also checkout SG.GS and PCCW, they provide L2 lines between DCs in SG.
I have heard of lifeway as well, but don't know much about them.

I have checked with SG.GS already, and got the prices.
I am looking for more options, i didn't know PCCW also provide DC to DC connectivity, i will ask them.
If anyone knows more, who dont charge premium but at sametime offer decent service, please suggest.
