Nice offer. When's Madrid due to launch?
Czechoslovakia still exists on the map
Thank you @Saragoldfarb
We don't have a fixed date yet for Madrid.
However, tomorrow we'll announce another zone and, next week, something for our friends over the ocean ๐
Wow, that's a great catch! You have a great sense of observation. Sorry for being 3+ decades late, I've sent this to our graphics designer
Kaliningrad/Lithuania border not present btw
Currently only credit card payments are supported. Please consider adding more payment methods, such as Paypal.
same
Thanks, forwarded that mention as well!
You are right @kebyn @azhai! We get a lot of requests for extra payment methods and Paypal is still on our 2025 roadmap.
Cool, with the 30% off its a nice deal. Good luck!
I appreciate the support! ๐ Just to clarify, 25% off is maximum discount of this particular thread - but it does stack with other discounts for longer billing cycles. Thank you and all the best!
@LumaDock The new location is not Looking Glass.
Finland, very nice.
Test ip?
Yes, my colleagues have to add the new location...s
Please ask our support team on live chat and they will provide the IPs for you.
site down?
Only the website: we recached it to reflect the new changes, so it may have been laggy for a minute - apologies for any inconveniences.
Thank you! And yes - it's official: Our FINLAND availability zone IS NOW LIVE!
Running on AMD EPYC + NVMe in a Tier III data center. You can read more about it here: https://lumadock.com/blog/news/helsinki-vps-hosting-finland-availability-zone/
We've added more code uses that work for Finland as well. Can a mod please add "Finland" to the title of the topic? Thank you
50% Coupon as Launch Offer ?
๐คค Haha, I wish I could - but we can't do it because of costs. We already offer fair prices by default, plus a discount for longer term commitments. An additional 50% off on top of that would be unsustainable and we want to keep our deals straightforward (not deceiving).
Quick note: we enabled IPv6 for London, Bucharest and Frankfurt.
just ordered a VPS in Bucharest, ipv6 support is a game changer
@Nekopara Thank you! If you need help with anything, please reach out to our support team ๐
Unmetered bandwidth on 1 Gbps shared port
Would you please define what that actually means, I'm asking because there are many providers on Here that play games with that.
Do you have any crypto payments?
unmetered, how is your fair use policy, i need 20TB per month approximately
Hello @painfreepc, it means that we do not have a set data cap and you don't get charged based on how much traffic you generate. This means you don't have to worry about overage charges or "Surprise!" invoices. Real world throughput is typically between 300-400 Mbps depending on the zone, what you are doing, or the user activity on the node. Additionally, we continously monitor network patterns (both manually and automatically) to prevent abuse and keep the experience great for all our users.
Hi Racksol - it should be fine, as long as it's legitimate traffic and not abuse (attacks, spam, phishing, DMCA etc)
Hello @sinzr - We currently don't have plans to implement crypto payments. We're a UK-based company and have to stay compliant for our business customers. We're not anti-crypto as a technology, it's just heavily regulated right now. Since 2025, they started treating crypto almost like financial services which means companies have to register with the FCA, perform full KYC/AML check and report transactions. That wouldn't be just a headache for us, but it would ruin the experience for our users who just want to spin a VM and get to work in seconds. We don't want our customers to feel harassed by extensive, mandatory KYC procedures - we want it to be as simple as possible so they can just focus on what matters (not bureaucracy). In the future, if the rules become clearer or simple, we will consider adding cryptocurrency options. Cheers!
"Hi Racksol - it should be fine, as long as it's legitimate traffic and not abuse (attacks, spam, phishing, DMCA etc)"
Would have been nice if you had mentioned here. How you handle DMCA and what's your policy on DMCA is
We comply with the law. If we receive valid DMCA notices, we will investigate and take appropriate action (depending on the situation): informing the customer, trying to solve the issue amicably, or suspension/termination.
@LumaDock The IP issued in Finland is geographically identified as belonging to the United States.
Are there any plans to fix this issue?
Hi @snevsky! You have a great eye for pointing that out
The Helsinki zone went live just a few days ago so this means some GeoIP databases havenโt fully updated yet (they refresh weekly, monthly or on their own schedule).
As those providers refresh their data, the IPs will correctly show as located in Finland. This propagation usually takes at least a week or two and it doesn't depend on us to "fix" it.
But it doesnโt affect actual routing or network performance in the meantime. Cheers, all the best!
Can you run a yabs?
You better get that routing database updated, wouldn't want it to break any DMCA jurisdictional laws, Unknowingly..lol
