    Is the catalog/ availabilities api going to be different for CA vs EU?

  • So everything is getting scalped via api before it appear on the website?

    they are the same

    also there is very nice, but unavailable for mere mortals endpoint /dedicated/server/datacenter/availabilities/raw with veeeery juicy body:

    [
      {
        "availability": "120H",
        "available": 0,

    It can never be as bad as the One Provider that used the API to buy hundreds of the one model to resell.

    Let’s not forget that you then can’t reinstall your OS from said scalped ovh servers. You have to wait for support because they can’t update a password script.

  • It's a public API, everybody is welcome to do the small research it takes to know how to use it. And even KS-LE-B was available from the website last time. It's a non issue.

    The delay sometimes can be hours, until it appears on the website.
    The most ugly thing though is, you can put a server, that's out of stock already in a cart to check out, on the website you can't.

    As soon as the stock appears, the checkout is just submitted and its done.
    However, the server needs to be in the catalogue for this to happen, which isn't the case here, anyway, yea get a script.

    You could/should try and make an invoice for a server that's already available, just to check that you did not fuck up your API credentials (or that there isn't a weird bug). Unless of course you've done that already.

    It fetches both catalog API and availability API every 15 seconds, compiles a list, adds it to the web GUI, any new servers added to the catalog will show up under New Catalog Additions (0) which is good because these show up first before coming available, once available it will show up under Newly Available (0) and then my python script will make a purchase for the server I specified in the config
