There is few things about cunt panel:

    1. They are industry leaders. Simple as that. All others just follow them feature wise.
    2. They are decades in business.
    3. Their support is seriously premium, they go far and beyond to help you.
    4. Customers like this panel. This is massive factor. It’s UI, file structure and app logic is well regarded among the inexperienced users.

Yea, you can replace it with directadmin some way. But it is nowhere near “enterprise” as cunt panel is.

    Just sad.

Agree. Directadmin aren't like cpanel their database management are very hard. Need to know username and password when you want to download. Their installation are very hard many missing many errors sometimes.

Tbh all we need is a decent looking UI, very similar to cPanel, and you can easily convert customers used to cPanel to another panel such as DA.

I had a look at Interworx, looks pretty good

I believe spanel.io has similar cpanel UI...

Looks neat but almost 40 USD for 100 accounts. Sounds like cPanel licensing. Plus, seems to be the max per server.

SPanel has unlimited accounts as it's priced per account once you go over the maximum. Great panel, only downside is their team has to install it and it's connected to their "management server" in a way. Otherwise their team has been great for me.
It's not for everyone, you don't have 100% control over the software like you do with cPanel in a way (though you still don't with cPanel.)

I can see that there's an option for self-management, or do they still force to have them install it?

Mike, I couldn't find the extra per account once you go above 100 accounts, where is it?

Edit, went to their live chat:

"So for self-managed SPanel plans, additional 50 SPanel accounts will cost $5/mo additionally
And for the managed SPanel plans, it's $15/mo for 50 SPanel accounts"

    Very reasonable.

  • bad news! now alot of other panels are in webpross

  • cPanel’s pricing has been increasing almost every year, and it’s definitely putting pressure on hosting providers as well as end users. Unfortunately, these changes make it harder for businesses like ours to maintain affordable hosting plans while still covering licensing costs.

We’ve already tried to absorb some of the increases in the past, but it’s becoming unsustainable in the long run. Hopefully, cPanel reconsiders their pricing structure or introduces more flexible options for smaller providers in the future.
