I'm in the Philippines and will probably go with Tokyo Softbank, also. The routing to Hong Kong DC1 is better, but I'm thinking worse for privacy.

Yes, 50ms is still good. The alternatives are Singapore 38ms, but in the wrong direction so latency to the US is higher. Or direct to Los Angeles 150ms.
