Anything by contabo is not useful nowadays. You are like 6 or 8 years late...

Sure it is nice to mention those but the question is: does anybody still want to use Contabo in 2025? Everything that was good about them once is gone since they sold out to big VC.

No, if you plan your sites to run smootly....not contabo vps....I have bad expirience with them: cpu steal time is >10%, panel is outdated, support slugish...

Yes it is - and back then it was actually true. Nowadays though I don't recommend Contabo anymore (and also I've seen faster NVMes), but still am happy with my 3 VPS, especially the german one because that node got a decent upgrade. But still I'm not recommending them anymore and also don't find them tasty (as in bang per buck) anymore. The whole market has moved a lot since when I wrote that, and it seems Contabo hardly moved at all.
They actually do sell VDS as well (in addition to VPS), at least they did last time I looked.
@jsg @Ballinwrld was rightly surprised about "dedicated ram" as a special feature in vds (which maybe says that you only get zram or ballooning in normal vps by Contabo...)

If deleting a post was possible on LET, that would of been more useful than posting this. I could never recommend Contabo even if I just hate the person. I wouldn't want to give Contabo the money/business.

Contabo was already not a good choice, and now with Hetzner Cloud's new prices, it makes even less sense to use Contabo. The new cheapest Hetzner servers are the same ones that used to be the better performing options, except for the ones with dedicated cores. I set up 5 virtual machines, and all of them were from the previous CPX series with AMD CPUs, and their single core GB6 scores were around 1300-1400.
What is the GeekBench 6 score?
