@Francisco So far great experience if I have one feedback thing it’s to stop generating and emailing all of the monthly $0 invoices for free stuff like Blesta licences

Current thinking is 2x the CPU/RAM across the board. Storage stays the same, I can't give 750G of NVME w/ nightly backups for $15/month :P

You know there's a reason we have it do those invoices and for the life of me I can't remember why. It dates back to BuyVM when we first started offering them. Its been so long that i've forgotten :(

  • I use it to host my blog and it is highly recommended.

that would be very useful and cool. with WordPress being CPU hog when we use Elementor/Astra or such site builders 1 CPU seems low during spikes and it hit it. 2 CPU would be great to have some room to breathe for sites on shared/reseller. I was always requesting for this to Fran. As MyW was also offering 2CPU and after I moved some clients to NC their CPU got limited to just 1CPU. Since the new Genoa got deployed October was much better in terms of uptime in NL and LV. Getting 2CPU will solve the rest of the remaining problem. Else this service is stellar in terms of performance and support.

Yeah, I'd love to offer 2 per user as a 'default' allocation for all plans, and then 2x everything else. There's so much spare CPU on these nodes we could borderline call it dedicated.

Would bring a lot more value to the product!

Wait, is this supposed to happen?
I have a free Blesta License, I've never seen an invoice for it.

You could probably write a quick function that just don't mail 0 USD invoices (0 USD before payment, so if credit was applied etc, still send out)

So don't block the generation just the sending

@hyperblast said: what about namecrane domains? @Francisco

    soon?
    >

Actually.... yes? I've spent the better part of this week rewriting our EPP system to integrate better with billing. At this point we can do all the standard domain actions (transfer in/out, contact details, nameservers, glue records, etc). Whats left is:

    • Yearly Contact verification emails (ICANN RDP)
    • Contact verification when you update your account details (IRTP)
    • DNSSEC controls
    • Some admin side portals

The progress we've made in the past week on the domain side has been incredible.

    Francisco

    Any updated timeframe?

  • Is NameCrane actually Faster / More Reliable than Asura. I started using Asura in Summer 2026.

I might also be interested in using CraneMail.

I don't have any issues with both the shared hosting and the namecrane mail. Can recommend them.

  • How is custom CraneMail accessed (MyEmailSite.com/log-in or log-in.MyEmailSite.com)? B)

Depends where you point the domain. We do have our brandable SSO page https://workspace.org or you can point mail.* right to the node.

  • I have my own small branded RoundCube Email service. I embeded a animated logo, embeded date & time js, etc. I even added embeded copy & paste animated svg emojis.

Would CraneMail be more reliable than custom RoundCube Email? Would I be able to add my animated logo, animated svg emojis, and date and time js? B)

On webmail that's not possible. On the SSO page you can do some pretty nice tweaks. Here's how that'll look for Resellers once the upgrades are done.

    Francisco

  • If I get a CraneMail account, that Won't be a reseller. The reseller would be a separate DirectAdmin reseller. I might test CraneMail 1st.

    CEO.

  • Does CraneMail come with a branded signature that is at the end of all sent Email?

Are you also part of Asura? B)

Your profile on here says (Do you own, operate, or work for a hosting provider? No). LOL

We don't put any signature branding or things like that on the emails.

We're not related to Asura in any way.

That field was added after I signed up here :) look at how old the account is.

    Francisco

  • I'm referring to my own branded signature. Custom RoundCube calls that global signatures. MyCustomEmail.com. B)

Ah, it would have to be applied to each domain.

    Francisco

  • Are you open to adding that feature please? Custom RoundCube allows html branded signatures. B)

  • Can DirectAdmin Reseller 50G easily be used with a side CraneMail account? B)

    They don't integrate.

Not in a rush to extend the roundcube functionality. Nothing stops you from using your own roundcube and point it at our IMAP server.

    Francisco

  • So, with DirectAdmin Reseller 50G, my custom RoundCube should run Fast, and Reliable?!

Also, one of my sites is a small online store that has custom apparel designs that I created. Once I find another company that can process, and print orders for me, should that site run smoothly / reliably?! B)
