RQ for i7 dedi
Hey everyone,
I came across two decent deals on OneProvider:
So my question is.. Does anyone know of a similar offer with bigger disks for around the same cost?
Thanks

OVH ECO (wait for LET best Friday) or Hetzner auctions (around 30 € but with 64 GB ram and 2x512 GB SSD M.2 NVMe or 2x4TB HDD)
Hetzner incl. VAT goes around 40$ so.. far from deals from Oneprovider
OVH KS-5 https://eco.ovhcloud.com/en-ie/kimsufi/ks-5/ €17.99 ex. VAT /month
Processor of the same generation, but with a slightly lower frequency

I have this offer currently, but I would prefer these i7 because of iGPU
Curious whats igpu used for?
Transcoding
Be careful though if iGPU can be activated. Is it anywhere written or guaranteed in the offer?
Never had any issues with servers that had iGPU or even GPU's (eg. GT210, GT710)
PulsedMedia maybe
Oneprovider
servdiscount
ovh
hetzner
@ZachNuyek for US, really cheap i5/i7 hardware (and the igpus work)
I've used Pulsed in the past - main "thing" was high ping between me and server
Oneprovider - This thread is about OP offer..
OVH - In my honest opinion it's overpriced for similar specs
Hetzner - Cheapest option is almost 2 times more than OP offer
I know that I didn't specify location.. my bad for that I know... I'm EU friendly but I think I've got a perfect deal (for me) already
I’m using an Intel® Xeon® E3-1245 v5 on an OVH server, but I’m unable to access its iGPU. It seems Supermicro may have it disabled by default (though I’m not entirely sure). I’d like to know if there’s any way to enable or use the iGPU, as that was my main reason for choosing this server.
Have you tried doing this?
