The storage speed is starting to become pathetic (again) aswell. The apps execution time has increased almost threefold in few days. It's not being healthy...

Please check your infrastructure. The VPSs appear to require some storage maintenance or something is happening. Their speed is bordering on terrible. It's not possible that you're using NMVe on your infrastructure. Either that, or you're putting more I/O aggressive limits.
I'm getting low numbers in my "steal" and "iowait" percentages, but oddly enough, the performance is still terrible.
