    not trynna be rude but no ipv4 being inclided is ridiculous even for lowest tier of servers lol. yes totally, charge for ADDITIONAL ipv4s thats to be expected, but no ipv4 could be a turnoff for many people lol.

    (i didnt plan to order anyway just giving my two cents lol)

    So in your logic, hetzner should be on a list of shame? They are asking for extra money for ipv4 for few years already...

    well, if thats the case yes.
    @DediRock also had $7/promotion and ipv4 is included (CA/NY)
    oracle oci - the free tier also provides a free non-nat ipv4 (ita region at least)

    @virtono that i used a couple years back also includes ipv4s.

    in a perfect world, where ipv6 connectivity is the default, charing would be understandable. but we don't live in perfect world. i cant think of it on top of my head but some repos dont even have a v6 mirror, so if you don't have a v4 ip you can't install from them lol

    There would be no greediness in perfect world, so here we are stuck with clickbaits and 7e/year IPv6-only VPS

    nah totally lol. fair discussion. it is my opinion that the internet isn't ready for ipv6-only.

    im not saying your service is bad, I can't know, haven't tried it. i just said that ipv6-only is a turn off.

    like someone else recommended consider having an additional plan that "includes" ipv4, rather than advertising it as an upcharge.

    $7/yr is already insane enough lol, so don't feel attacked. but yeah i personally fell like no ipv4 is bad. doesn't mean it won't work out for others or that you won't make sales, you clearly will lol

  • Just to say that €12 / year for a VPS in Poland is a very good price

    @3K33

    I've edited the first special offer so that the lack of IPv4 is more prominent. People don't always pay attention to the details, so it doesn't hurt to make this particular detail a bit more prominent -- also to avoid potential misunderstandings

  • Here's the results of a YABS of the LET Special Recurring Welcome Offer with IPv4 for €12 / year that I've just run. (I first created a swap file of 1.2 GiB so that Geekbench 6 would succeed)

    $ wget -qO- yabs.sh | bash

    Please fix your virtualizor integration, its broken, self signed SSL + IP

    I can confirm that there's a self-signed SSL certificate for Virtualizor, which surprised me a bit and isn't ideal

    (But I didn't have any issue with the IP of my VPS)

    We have Virtualizor issue on our TODO list.
    About the IPv6 problem, unfortunetely it seems like our datacenter has different routing policies for our subnet and there is a problem to correctly route the traffic to us. From some ISPs everything works fine, but some are reaching dead end. This is already reported.
