A good low end PC build under 500 us dollars or 80,000 Nepalese Rupees?

CPU should have at least 6 cores, better if 8.

Motherboard should be from known brand like MSI, ASUS etc. The mobo should support DDR4 RAM as well since I am in budget.

32GB RAM

PSU should be from reputed brand like Corsair etc.

Case can be anything. It is better if cockroaches and dust does not enter while having a good ventilation.

SSD=512GB NVME

UPS for this PC as well required.

Could you please provide the quote?

UPS is required to give enough time to save the work and shutdown gracefully. So, 1-5 minute is enough.

I bought approximately your configuration for ~300€ last year:

    • 130€ Ryzen 9 3900x
    • 65€ 32GB ECC branded
    • 60€ compatible Asus motherboard (AsRock was 40€, refused for having released multiple unstable models)
    • 35€ branded power supply from 2005, bought second hand
    • 3x HDD disks I had
    • ATX case found next to the dumpster

The UPS I have has a second-hand value of 15€ plus batteries; the batteries are 15€ each, 2x 45Ah car batteries with a passive voltage adapter. UPSs of adequate size can be had for cheap on Ebay without batteries, but buy a robust model, a lot of rebranded chinese junk floods the listings.

At this price you better buy some used workstation.

  • Buy used cpu, new motherboard, used ram (but test for errors b4 buy), new ssd (crucial/intel/samsung), used pc case, new psu.
And fuck your corsair psu and go for seasonic.

  • And you should name some local websites that sells new and used pc parts in your area.
    Prices vary by region/country

  • @NeedDeal I do not think who will browse through the sites? i specified US price. So you can tell us what new items will cost that much in usa. In Nepal, the conversion will be not just USD->NPR but the tax, vat etc. That is why I said 500$ to 100k NPR.

  • used market is even not worth it. they do not consider depreciation of asset in used market lol. in nepal

    Workstations sold for premium price,
My only advice it to buy latest Ryzen CPU with it newer instructions,
from RAM start with 16GB, or even 8GB if you didn't do any gaming or runs multiple VM/Containers,
storage either buy cheap 265GB nmve for OS and software you wants and 2-4TB hdd as extended storage.
Motherboard any compatible one since you wont OC it, GPU it's up to you usage, if you want to use it for Ai look for newer model with higher RAM, i think AMD if better in this regard.
