What self-hosted apps need better 1-click templates? (We just built N8N)
Hey LET,
We recently launched N8N VPS templates and people seem happy they can skip the installation headache and get straight to work.
We're thinking about doing the same for other popular self-hosted apps, but we want to ask the community first instead of guessing.
What we're planning:
OS templates with commonly-used applications pre-installed and configured.
You deploy, point your domain, run one setup command, and you're done.
We rely on this community a lot, so we'd rather hear what YOU actually need. Vote in the poll for the apps you'd use, and if something's missing, just comment below.
Thanks!

Please consider adding PriTunl and Docusaurus
Maybe immich?
Also, nextcloud is in the list twice.
Also, aren't most easy to install using docker nowadays?
Thanks. Yes, I will think about it.
Yes, you're right, maybe we will use docker too. Depends on the application, for example for N8N we have 2 templates, one with native NPM installation + SQLite, the other one a docker compose with PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.
Indeed, it's easier with docker, but for complex solutions where you need docker compose and multiple applications it might be time-consuming. Also, not everyone knows how to use docker, how to check the logs, etc.
Personally i stopped hosting directly on vps, i always use proxmox and nsted virtualisation works perfectly so far (aside that one incident...)
Backups to straight to pbs and once a provider decodes to deadpool i restore all backups to another provider
Proxmox, pbs and proxmox helper scripts ftw
It's a good alternative, but not everyone has your knowledge ...
ID:9719 VPS unable to start via the console
Pls troubleshoot
