Any LET providers who also offer gameservers?
Hi,
Having no or very little experience with gameservers, i'm looking for a gameserver (or suitable vps) to host a gameserver for me and my son to play on. Player count probably just us two, very occasionally.
Went looking online but i figured why not ask and see if any active LET providers are also in the business of hosting gameservers or offer a suitable vps for this use-case.
Games we play together occasionally are Minecraft & Rust (PVE), probably would install a few mods.

Have you thought of looking into Oracle free tier? I believe with a mix of few hacks(making your VM not be idle) and constant daily backups, you can bag a decent server.
I have a server in my local region(1-2ms ping from home and max 30ms ping from my homies' place) thats been up since November 2024(apart from reboot thanks to my stupidness).
Nothing heavy just vanilla server.
If you are, however, looking for pure minecraft server, you could look into self hosting.
If that's too much for you, then maybe you could go for something like aternos.
Paying for purely minecraft/rust server is not recommended due to high markup on those product lineups.
