Hi,

as I will miss all the Black Friday action this year going already crazy now, thanks :D

Anyone selling dirt cheap 500GB HDD thing for storing packed backup? I assume I will put 30GB of data there once a week as plan is to have everyday backed up to different provider and I just need 2 more ;')

Location/Speed: Do not care, just not 1 MB/s because ISDN.
Dicks: 500 GB HDD spinning rust.
Type: VPS/Storage/RSYNC/FTP, just need to work via rclone, thanks.
VAT: 23% if EU.
Budget: $15 per year, pp/card/LTC.

[Things below if VPS]
RAM: One.
CPU: One.
IPv6: One. or IPv4, tailscale gogogogo.
IPv4: Not really needed, but cool if. NAT cool too.

Excluded aka already have it:
heartbeat-it aka server-factory
hostbrr.com
servarica.com
hosthatch.com [kinda, if you have amazing deal in different location than NL I take it :D]

    Where is the coupon to make it 5.75 USD/year?

    My math is not mathing.
    $5.75 * 12 months =$69.
    $69 seems bigger (a lot) than 15$.

    Thanks, but no thanks.

    You can check my friend @AlexBarakov, not much babwit but should be okay for your needs:

    AlphaVPS — €30.00 / year

    1024 MB RAM
    512 GB HDD
    1536 GB/month bandwidth

    GreenCloud also has a number of these around the world, but they have never been in stock since VPS Price Tracker began sampling them:

    GreenCloud — $25.00 / year
    1 Epyc Cores (shared)
    2048 MB RAM
    500 GB HDD
    3000 GB/month bandwidth

    Hosted in Netherlands 🇳🇱

    Nononon, not gonna steal epic deals from ya.

    btw. As I have 10$ there (yey, giveaway!) I decided "Hey, maybe they have something I can buy for those 10$, right?" What category is your deal from? /s
    I'd rather put it in spoiler, lmao.

    Lol, nice spoiler. I don't think I'm gonna miss it, my storage is mostly spread across Ca/NL/DE/FR so I'm good. Also I think this one was gifted to me anyway and it's not my only server with them.

    Glad to help out if needed.

  • Looks like too early for deadpool deals, welp.

    @systemfreaks has 500gb of s3 storage for $1.51 USD
    $18.12 per year.

    Or message @NetDynamics24 I know they were doing discounts for their backup storage like @ehab said

    Rclone supports s3 credentials for system freaks and net dynamics has lots of connection options. Unless you really do need the ip

    Hi,

    thank you very much for mentioning!

    Better i will not ask what deal you had with us exactly that we have been mentioned here, otherwise i will most probably just die on a heartattack because if its even similar to a 15 USD / year deal then yes, worth to die on it from the perspective of the guy who has to pay the datacenter bills ^^;

    Unfortunately we can not help in this price range. We would like to stay a bit longer in business and not die on this kind of deals after 20 years of business ^^;

    But thank you again for mentioning :-)

    At first I laughed because I found your message funny; then I laughed ten times harder because I realized that at first I read OP's request as monthly and not yearly :D

    (I'll find the door out myself don't worry xD)

    You just need RCLONE, right? Then try someone who either offers rclone or rclone-supported services.

    At what price would selling 500GB HDD rclone service be at least somewhat profitable for you?
    I'm genuinely curious.
