  • What I found out of my little experience with vps packages is people spam yabs then stop and then run there vps on Idle and look for the best next thing. Am I wrong?

    Yeah, it's an addiction.

  • The last time I went with Bero was well only for two months
Actually from the first month it was detected.

Windows Server Template provided, RDP as usual
Sometime it lags for 1 sec , then back to normal after 2sec and so on. Then it shows up again.

Tested again with Linux Debian 12 at that time.
    Same behavior like Windows.

Performance both YABS and Geekbench 6 under Windows not showing any kind of drop performance passing 15% from the first month.

    It's weird
I am assuming that CPU Usage might be capped no more than 60%
While I was heavy on Single Core usage, passing 50%-70% during US Time

We do not limit the CPU by default. If you are experiencing issues with your server, we will be happy to look into it and assist you.

  • Before March 2025,
I forgot, which Ryzen do you host that time? 7950X or 9950X already?

Because I am experiencing that issue on the range of December 2024 - March 2025
I am assuming late January 2025

All I need is to get closer to hetzner server in Falkenstein, Germany
It seems both of accessing the RDP and server got a huge impact

    Before March 2025,
I forgot, which Ryzen do you host that time? 7950X or 9950X already?

Because I am experiencing that issue on the range of December 2024 - March 2025
I am assuming late January 2025

All I need is to get closer to hetzner server in Falkenstein, Germany
It seems both of accessing the RDP and server got a huge impact

The last time I went with Bero was well only for two months
Actually from the first month it was detected.

Windows Server Template provided, RDP as usual
Sometime it lags for 1 sec , then back to normal after 2sec and so on. Then it shows up again.

Tested again with Linux Debian 12 at that time.
    Same behavior like Windows.

Performance both YABS and Geekbench 6 under Windows not showing any kind of drop performance passing 15% from the first month.

    It's weird
I am assuming that CPU Usage might be capped no more than 60%
While I was heavy on Single Core usage, passing 50%-70% during US Time

Can I upgrade to a bigger plan at a later date with the same pricing?

    Yes via support ticket

Same price, but with a higher VPS configuration? That’s great! Can I open a support ticket for an upgrade right after I make the purchase now?

No, they mean they want upgrade smaller birthday plan with birthday pricing later, not free upgrade.

One interesting thing I noticed is when I torrent(obviously with a wireguard VPN), it triggers anti DDoS causing connection drops from ssh.

I thought it was some hardware sided issue.

So far not much of a problem but interesting observation.

Come again? You torrent, the authorities come knocking on your provider's door and you expect them to say what?

If torrenting is not illegal why are you using VPN then? Just download as usual with your normal connection.

On the other hand, it doesn't matter if torrenting is illegal or not, if your service provider doesn't allow torrenting, it means you can't use it for legal stuff either.

    agreed here.

the issue is NOT whether torrenting is legal or illegal.

If the provider says it is not allowed beforehand, then it is not allowed.

Try tcp, some DDoS provider flag huge udp vpn outbound.

As long as it legal, i dont think Bero will do anything to block it.

I don't do outbound. Just occassional inbound. Outbound do happen for as long as I'm downloading + 6 minutes while my other application process the Linux ISO into my nfs directory :)
