What is your favorite hosting control panel in the year of our lord 2025?
If your answer is cpanel, why?
Is DA still lacking in terms of usability for end users?

I like directadmin in most cases (but they need to improve ux)
Regarding for my own server I do prefer 1Panel
cPanel - it's what customers expect, and the customer is the most important part of the business.
Virtualmin
Or go bare back, cli and no panel/ pants
Okay this is what's puzzling to me, why do customers like it? Is it just the theme?
Ppl like to throw money away
Thats all
DirectAdmin is much easier as an end user, in my opinion. Especially if you use the icon theme. cPanel used to be nice like ten years ago but somewhere along the line the UI became a bloated mess.
Enhance
khelp
minus hosting
don't you have a kink for no pants
You're confusing me for @ehab
The true pantless connoisseur
Termius
caasify vpn
@Rubben
Mac mini Server because it is free.
I don't even like cPanel, but customers do. I feel like cPanel = happy people and DA = support requests and churn.
I've used cPanel for well over a decade, but recently picked up a DA reseller at namecrane for its lower price and unlimited accounts (I like to create individual accounts for my many subdomains). It's fine, honestly don't have a strong preference between the two. As long as I can connect via ssh/ftp and setup mail it doesnt really matter to me.
Really happy with Enhance. They may be a little behind on features but they are constantly releasing updates. And their support is second to none.
Virtualmin because it is Open Source and offers endless features
Vestacp best
We recently migrated to DirectAdmin, and I dont think we're going back to cPanel or any other panel.
How are the customers taking that move? I would imagine a lot would complain/cancel?
We have been using Enhance too! Enhance in UK, US and SG.
DirectAdmin for UK only - old cPanel clients moved to DirectAdmin.
We plan to keep both.
No complaints so far really. Few "How to" tickets/live chats but thats it.
What is your favourite bloatware
Microsoft Windows, my absolute favorite
Bit like most control panels full of shit you don't want!!
Windows ME
