Yep, pretty sure. XVMlabs launched to beta testing their project, I got one free VPS and its very good tbh. After the project closure, I still want to renew and they directed me to BWH.
URPad - My first VPS, circa 2013
RamNode - The company still exists, but was great back in the day, when it was owned by Nick_A.
I got 4 free IPv4's with my cheap xvmlabs vps back in the day (2014). Not sure if it's true, but it seemed like it was a grab to justify IPv4 space (using your contact info to justify it).

@ChrisMiller is still around, and I worked at URPad back in the day. Good times.
VirMach (probably still exists - I don't care anymore), but in the great time when the owner was honest and approachable

InceptionHosting — got my first ever VPS from Anthony approximately 12 years ago. Coincidentally, it was also my first experience ever using Linux — headless Linux, mind you. I learned a crazy amount on that 256MB XEN box, which has been instrumental to my career. I hope Anthony is doing well; I miss him.

Was anyone ever able to get hold of the owner. Is he OK?

I just went and looked at NeoCities and it doesn't have the 1990s vibe that Geocities had.
I remember Geocities being organized around a "neighbhorhoods" metaphor. Your site was placed on "Sunset Strip", "Area 51", "Wall Street", "Fashion Avenue", etc. You could go to a neighborhood like Wall Street and see business/investing-oriented sites, Area 51 was science fiction and aliens, etc.
NeoCities seems to be a list of cities with tags.
Granted, the "neighborhood" metaphor wasn't the greatest idea but that to me was GeoCities.
Good times. Used to distribute a lot of nature videos on their free hosting. Good times.

So it was 2012 when I purchased my first URPad vps.
Here is the link to that offer on LEB.

Had zero problems with that VPS, but can't recall when or why I discontinued it.
