If you'd ask me a couple of years ago I'd definitely agree. I got the feeling they're falling a bit behind lately - and I still have a few VPSes with them that I have experience with.
My top at this moment [price/performance/options combination], based on own experience (mainly NL locations) is basically HostDZire and HostSailor. A bit below that are GreenCloud, Hosthatch and let's put in SoftShellWeb in the mix too [after a bit of a bumpy start for me]. Runner-up to mention is ChunkServe [mostly based on the progress made].
thank you very much, gotta have fun.
definitely @yoursunny summer host !
I would definitely thank @BrianHarrison for the wonderful service Reprise Hosting has provided me for a month now.
that is literally 100% a lie, you just shit on them for no reason whatsoever, absolutely no one mentioned them in that thread.
Not the first time either, I remember you did the same thing (to deluxhost) two or three times before.
You also shit on AT LEAST 10 other hosts in separate comments for no reason whatsoever,
you just randomly start insulting random providers in random threads so often that it has become a meme.
@DeluxHost himself can confirm if we've attacked or spoken badly about him
I may have made the mistake of disagreeing with some posts in the past, but we learn from mistakes. You can't take it so seriously. we have weeks, months, you could say, that you haven't seen a post like before
We hope to fix all the mistakes I made, but you won't see any erroneous posts from me
Every comment helps us improve as a person/company
Judging a provider based on the availability of a single location out of many is not relevant. We operate dozens of locations, and maintaining stock for all plans at every location is not feasible. Availability depends on demand, and while some locations may temporarily have zero stock, they are typically restocked within a few weeks. As we own all our hardware and equipment, building and shipping processes can take a few weeks to a month, and unforeseen delays, such as slow customs clearance, may occasionally extend this timeline.
Yes you did, stop trying to gaslight me man, I have eyes and I can read.
Here's your comment we mentioned:
Matteo is just so nice and humble that he will never say it in public. But I'm done with your bullshit.
You have your opinion, and we respect it. I never meant to offend anyone. You can see our posts. When users request something with a price like @DeluxHost we tag them because we know they have good prices and good quality. Don't take it the wrong way.
We understand your opinion, but this time you're wrong. We won't enter into a debate. We know we've had some problems in the comments on some posts, but I can assure you that you won't see anything like this again.
Have a good start to the week.
I noticed you might be on one of our older plans using SolusVM, which is now outdated. We are gradually migrating all plans to VirtFusion for improved performance with updated templates and features. A few months ago, all VM plans in Amsterdam, NL, previously running on Intel E5, were upgraded to EPYC Rome with RAID-10 NVMe 4.0 nodes, performance should be improved a lot. If you’re experiencing issues, please DM me your ticket ID, and I’ll look into it for you.
It was not my intention to offend. Sorry, if that came across the wrong way. My point was that the person's use of the word period. It simply does not work like that for a number of reasons including the points you have mentioned.
Personally, I dont think there is or ever should be a sole provider. Competition is always good for business and for keeping the quality and standards high.
OP asked for the most top, i gave the most top imo.
period.

Always has been.
hahahaha
For years with @greencoludvps & @LowHosting and no regrets. The Price Tracker frontend is hosted on GreenCloud with some backend stuff on LowHosting. Admittedly a single VPS for the frontend doesn't give high availability to the website but at this small scale it's not even needed.
Sad show this! But probably to be expected nowadays when feelings are so overrated. One "reviewer" even clearly said that he judged by how he feels ...
Sure, we're all humans and such emotions almost always play a role, but when reviewing products or providers I don't give a rat's ass about someone's (or my own for that matter) feelings and purely subjective view. The only place where feelings may have some relevance is support - otherwise all I care about is based on cold hard data and price and to some degree age (of a hosting operation) and to some degree facts-based reputation.
Let's say @host_c !!!
you're not just buying a VM, you're putting your trust in someone to run the company properly, not deadpool, and not enshittify your existing services. 80% of lowend hosting is built off of trusting that things stay mostly the same and that your provider doesn't go off the deep end like @CharityHost_org. Not that you'd know this since I don't think you have any actual workloads, just your buggy benchmarking script.
Except for the last idiotic part I agree - but: the issues you mentioned can't be addressed by emotions either.
Just two examples:
Obviously, many here, incl. many who mostly "communicate" via (usually stupid) images, do like emotions based "reviews" or at least don't care. As demonstrated in this thread they are allowed and can post their (IMO utterly worthless) rankings. But so am I, whether you like it or not.
I stand by what I said: in the context of reviews and ranking I don't care a flying fuck about your emotions, period.
You only talk yabs and numbers, like a robot. I am human, i have feelings.
(a) I never talk about yabs.
(b) a feelings based "review" is worthless both to humans and to robots.
(c) bluntly, writing or appreciating "reviews" based on feelings mainly says one thing: such a person is stupid and so is an AI who "values" such "reviews".
That's probably the reason why they get so many clicks.
No offense intended, just saying honestly and frankly what I think.
I wouldn't say a word without comparation.
@berohost I just open a ticket when I need to upgrade the CPU without extra charging (reasonable condition of course), the job done.
with @NDTN (greencloudvps) , I submitted a ticket to upgrade my existing E5 CPU VPS to one of their newer EPYC series CPU VPS offerings, which is available at the same price, and other things stay the same too. Guess what? They're asking for a $10 migration fee. By the way, this VPS expires in two months. I'm now wondering if I should even renew it.
Just FYI
Maybe 10$ migration fee is for migrate from SoulsVM to VirtFusion, unlike bero host just upgrade your CPU in the same cluster (just another host, no platform migrate needed).
I don’t believe anything is wrong with the $10 fee. If your VPS is not part of a mass migration to a different platform and you’re requesting a manual migration, $10 is a reasonable charge. As I previously explained, the process involves several tasks: creating a new plan in WHMCS, setting up the new VM, and often keeping both VMs online to facilitate data transfer or to move the old IP to the new VM. This also includes back-and-forth communication during the migration. While some providers may offer this service for free, which is great, our scale makes it unfeasible to do so.
@NDTN I had issues with the Debian 12 template on multiple occations. It’s just not stable. Your support wasn’t very helpful.
Thankfully @beanman109 showed me that there’s this ”ISO” list one can install from instead of template, and this fixed it. Your support didn’t suggest or recommend this.
I understand SolusVM can be buggy, but I haven’t had these issues with any other provider I have ever tried, and lots of them use SolusVM.
Not really trying to get a solution for me personally, it’s already solved, also not really trying to shit on your services, I’m just saying from the first time I experienced an issue with this Debian 12 template and contacted support about it, it took quite awhile until I tried it again and at that point, still not working.
Have you installed the VM from the Client Area or the SolusVM Control Panel? Installing from the SolusVM Control Panel may work better. I believe our team resolved the issue with the Debian 12 template when you opened the ticket. If the issue persists, please update the ticket, and we’ll investigate further.

Installed directly from SolusVM. This was just a few weeks ago, long after the ticket:
