Hey @jnd - thanks for dropping by again.. but no, sorry I can't do that, as much as I'd love to

There are checks in place to prevent abuse and ensure everyone gets a fair share, so you can expect a real world speed of around ~300 Mbps. Try it out, see if it matches your expectations, and if not... we're sorry to see you go, but we'll refund you the full sum if requested within 30 days.

So that's not unmetered. What is the FUP policy?

In my experience on Starter VPS lineup speed limited to 150 Mbps for download/upload
Also saw YABS for Performance VPS lineup: up to 300 Mbps

Hi Oakley! There's no FUP tied to bandwidth usage - because it's unmetered in the true sense: no monthly transfer limits, no overage charges and no billing surprises. That said, we have to maintain a fair and reliable experience across the platform, for all the zones and for all the plans. For example, if you were hosting production with us, you would expect stable performance ALL the time. Not to have it impacted by someone deciding to ride the 1Gbps port with a hundred throwaway €1/mo servers... And so for all this, we have automated systems and people that monitor network patterns. Hope that clears it up.

Hey @sychusha it's the same for all plans (Starter, Performance, Forex etc) - real world throughput of ~300 Mbps

Regardless of the location, 33mb is too big on first loading. You may optimize it.

Hi Puffy! Thank you very much for taking the time to write this. Our team has made some Gzip + backend improvements for the website, which should translate into faster loading speeds (Google Pagespeed also improved). VMs are unaffected and are running properly - only the website is going through some tweaks.

It's so slow because the "set" API takes 13+ seconds per page load to return the VPS options you can order, and that's with a 1gbps connection. Anything slower and it likely takes even longer!

Yes Alex, IPv6 will be available in London. My colleagues already managed to implement it on a couple of zones, but it's not live yet because we want to launch it across all zones. Otherwise we'll have to write awkward disclaimers like "IPv6 except X zone" which is less than optimal :( or "IPv6 coming soon in Y zone" and people dislike that.
