I have been playing around with a small homelab setup where I do various things for personal enjoyment and learning. I run a few game servers for non-commercial use for friends, and I also play around with simple web and file hosting just to see how it all works together. Most of it runs in Docker and containers, which makes it easy to start apps, break apps, fix apps, and try new things (and not mess up the entire system)
Essentially, it is my own sandbox that I can use to learn about servers, networking, self-hosted projects, and at the same time have something useful and fun running on the side.
