It would have been easier if there were results from the specific machine, seems no one's used EX44?
EX44 is great
You cannot upgrade it afterwards I'm fairly sure, if you do however (or order a new with things changed) it loses is value rapidly
If you need to upgrade from the EX44 better check what's best by then, right now probably OVH Rise servers on Ryzen
