A very unpleasant shopping experience

I purchased a $10 VPS from @Hassan on September 23rd. However, after payment, I couldn't connect using SSH, and it displayed a timeout. Even after reinstalling the operating system, the problem persisted. I contacted technical support, and after receiving feedback, they told me to wait for technical support. After waiting for two hours, no one contacted me to resolve the issue, so I applied for a refund according to the website's rules. Over the next four days, no technician contacted me, and I received no feedback regarding the refund. On the 27th, @Hassan finally responded to my support, saying that the refund had been issued and that they had changed the IP address. They also generously offered to keep the machine for me to use for free for a month (English is not my native language, so I got this roughly through translation. I'm very grateful, but I won't be using it for production. So far, I've only connected and installed a production environment). However, my refund has not yet arrived. I sent a support ticket, saying that a professional team would contact me. I've been waiting until now, but the refund issue has not been resolved, which is very disappointing. After contacting their team to no avail, I chose to post this to urge them to improve their service.

It's too slow, so I don't dare use it in a production environment, otherwise I won't be able to find technical support if something goes wrong.

Did you send them a work order?

Feel free to send any further complaints to /dev/null which seems to be their support desk.

Yes, but the feedback I received was waiting for their professional team to contact me. Unfortunately, they have not contacted me yet.

First, I wasn't sure it was an IP blocking issue until he changed his IP. I was able to connect without reinstalling the system or doing anything else. I also applied for a refund according to his website's rules and didn't make any unreasonable demands. I also don't think changing my IP would affect other terminals.

Sorry if I'm being dumb but why don't you ask China to unblock the IP?

You're incompetent as an administrator. You should have connected to the server using the VNC console and verified the issue in 2 minutes. Then you could have made the request for another IP and saved time and hassle.

You didn't do basic troubleshooting specific to YOUR country's firewall. It's totally unacceptable for you to be this unhelpful and blame the provider - this issue is 100% on you.

SMH. Provider is smart to refund you and break up with you.

  • If I worked in tech support, I'd be a "Network Nazi" (think Seinfeld Soup Nazi). Idiots who can't do basic troubleshooting,

    "NO SERVER FOR YOU"

I don't think you understood what I meant. I didn't get any technical support. Even though I knew it was an IP issue, no one helped me change it. Also, seeing how frustrated you are, has your life been rough lately? Being a troll online? Also, you need to understand what I'm saying. First of all, I'm very grateful to Hassan. As I said at the end, I'm hoping they can improve their service, not complain.

Did your mother give birth to you and knew how to speak? Everyone in the world grows through learning, rather than discriminating against those who are not as good as themselves in the areas in which they are good at. I still hope your mother can teach you what politeness is.

You are not in managed hosting.

So technical support if applicable comes AFTER you do basic troubleshooting and ONLY if something can be done at the providers end.

    You didn't do basic troubleshooting.
