Packet loss to some providers with iFog Zurich location?

01r01r Member

I had a TeamSpeak Server running on there for ~3 days with permanent packet loss.
Tried to address it to the support with MTRs, they only replied with the ICMPs might rate limit.

Added following screenshots to the ticket (and added the information that I have a TeamSpeak Server running), didn't get a reply anymore (as of now).
https://ibb.co/Sw4mddbf
https://ibb.co/fdB1SsHf

IP of the server if someone wants to test: 185.44.82.57
Package: VPS Schweiz 2 - G2

Got packet loss with following ISPs (as seen on the TeamSpeak Server with my friends): AS3209, AS3320, AS20677, (AS30722), (AS31034 - bot was running on this one)
Also, DTAG (AS3320) seems somewhat fine, sometimes with no packet loss but still spikes up.

As of now I've shut down the TeamSpeak Server and moved it back (for now).
Maybe there's some routing issue? Anything else I could try?

Any help is appreciated :)

Can't really help, but maybe this is useful info: I noted quite often during the last few weeks that the iFog target wasn't reachable. And as I tried from diverse servers it seems to not be related to a single "unlucky" route.

  • @ruben - ifog contact on LET.

Given that most of the ISP mentioned are Germany based. I would recommend looking into a provider in Frankfurt that has direct peering to some of the ISP mentioned like @dataforest

No worries, for my CS:S server I use @dataforest :)
As of now my TS Server is back at OVH.

About iFog: I've send them my traceroutes as requested (3-4 days ago) but didn't get a reply back.
