    @maixuanthuy

I was able to locate your order and noticed that when you placed it, you paid the full price because you forgot to apply the promotion, and opened a ticket to use the promotion.

We credited your account with the difference between the full and promotional prices, which will be applied to your renewal invoice.

    Cheers!

    Hello!

We've been offering hosting since 2009, but we've not been particularly active on LET! So it's no wonder you never heard of us before. We're "new to LET", but not the market. Most of our customers are InfoSec Pros, Devs, and others. There is some open-source stuff, too!

We aim to offer services for production use. We've got customers who've been with us since 2010 and 2011

@DeadlyChemist said: Owned hardware? Owned network?

Hardware: Some is owned, some is contracted

Network: We peer directly with our data center partners with our own ASN and IP space.

If you're interested in giving us a try, go ahead! There's a money-back guarantee if you're not happy with the service!

thanks for the info! maybe another day, so far i have enough partners :)

im decomissioning most of my vps aside special ones, and whatever i buy, now i require proxmox to run, which means it needs bit more juice, so the price is higher... harder to justify etc

I want to know how long the CPU can take up?

The question was asked by more than one customer, so we added a new entry to our VPS FAQ at the bottom of the page, and I am sharing it here for everyone who has the same question to have the clarity they need

You're free to utilize the full CPU allocation of your VPS for short bursts โ€” a few minutes at a time is typically acceptable for tasks such as compiling, software installation, or processing-intensive operations.

However, since this is a shared environment, we kindly request that all customers be mindful of prolonged or excessive CPU usage. Long-running jobs that peg the CPU at 100% for extended periods can negatively impact others on the same node.

We donโ€™t apply throttling immediately, but we do monitor overall node health and usage patterns. If we detect behavior thatโ€™s excessive or unfair to others, our team will reach out, explain the situation, and apply throttling if needed to maintain a balanced environment.

In short: use what you need, but please be mindful of the platform and your fellow users.-

We appreciate the mindfulness and consideration

The demand in Singapore is always high. I think everything is good now, from perfomance to price.

Just need to prove stability and reputation over time.

The East Asian market will have some unique characteristics. You guys just need to make some adjustments to the VPS hardware configuration (specifically RAM). Along with a marketing strategy suitable for the market, you will definitely sell a lot.

You're absolutely right. I keep hoping we made a good first impression, and we'll do our best to ensure that this impression doesn't change negatively.

That's very true. Once this promotion is over, we'll take a closer look at what was requested the most and what sold the most. Hopefully, over time, we'll perfect the configuration that appeals to the East Asian regions!

You're right on the money! Interest in the Singapore location has been global, but predominantly from the Asia-Pacific region.

@Phuocvan The best way to proceed is through the ticketing system. I don't think LET would be the best place to handle this

Moving your VPS to a different location/region is supported. Please open a support ticket for that. Regarding the annual payments, please also reach out to the billing department.

@Riccardo said: Do you have plans for storage servers?

Honestly, I've been seriously considering it. It'll be hard to compete with some of the storage VPS Providers, such as InterServer, for example. I'll have to determine a reasonable per-terabyte pricing, then calculate the storage per node and the number of drives to include for a RAID 10, as RAID 1 won't suffice.

I may end up creating a thread asking for community feedback. But so far, my idea for storage boxes is a minimum config of:

    • 1 vCPU
    • 1 GB RAM
    • 10 GB NVMe For OS
    • 1 TB RAID 10 HDD Storage

Undecided on the pricing, tho, but open to suggestions

The Raffle for the Double RAM is officially closed

I would like to thank everyone who has placed an order for their support, and I wish everyone who entered the raffle the best of luck! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ€ The winners will be randomly picked tomorrow morning or afternoon EST!

I will be using a bash script that reads the list of entrants from a text file, displays the list, shuffles it a few times, and then selects the number of winners I pass to it.

The process will be recorded, and a GIF of the raffle will be posted in the thread, along with the announcement of the winners, to demonstrate the integrity of the raffle.
