Interestingly enough, we're almost running out of stock in Singapore! I think 5 more VMs are left in stock, at least until tomorrow!

I think you're confusing us with DediServe  They are the ones I know to have a Jakarta location! But hey! Check out the Singapore location, maybe the latency will work for your needs!

    Hello!

We've been offering hosting since 2009, but we've not been particularly active on LET! So it's no wonder you never heard of us before. We're "new to LET", but not the market. Most of our customers are InfoSec Pros, Devs, and others. There is some open-source stuff, too!

We aim to offer services for production use. We've got customers who've been with us since 2010 and 2011

@DeadlyChemist said: Owned hardware? Owned network?

Hardware: Some is owned, some is contracted

Network: We peer directly with our data center partners with our own ASN and IP space.

If you're interested in giving us a try, go ahead! There's a money-back guarantee if you're not happy with the service!

First of all, thank you so much for the detailed post and for openly voicing your concern about overselling. It genuinely makes me happy to see the negative point of view, because it opens the door to improvement AND addressing any potential misconceptions or concerns, and I want to address that.

We don't over-pack the servers with RAM and Storage. Most Nodes have 192 GB of RAM to 265 GB max, and we like to reserve at least 15~20% of the node's memory and disk capacity to give the VMs running a breathing room, so that each Node will get a specific number of VMs, then that's it. Sold out. Time to deploy a new node, and/or rely on VirtFusion to distribute the VMs reasonably across the nodes in the region.

Additionally, although we don't throttle the CPU right away, we check the nodes for excessive resource consumption. If detected, we will communicate with the customer, explain the situation, and apply proper throttling to protect the other customers on the node.

So far, since 2009, we haven't really advertised our service. I think I made a post or two on WHT maybe 12+ years ago, but nothing serious since then, until this LET Post! It's no wonder, then, that not many people know about us, if anyone at all.

We are going to oversell? Absolutely not. We'd rather make a smaller profit than have our customers leave because they're unhappy with the service. The extra $1.00 today is not worth it, if that makes sense.

Will we offer more aggressive discounts in the future? Probably not; at least, nothing more aggressive than this one. However, if this deal is successful, we'll repeat it as soon as possible.

I hope this offers some needed clarity!

Hello there! Thank you so much for the order! The CPU, Disk, and RAM upgrades have been applied!

I am sorry that we're unable to commit to additional bandwidth in Singapore at the moment. We only recently started there, and we don't have the significant bandwidth commitment yet, otherwise I'd be overselling and I can not do that  - but the additional bandwidth in Singapore will happen soon! In the meantime, New Jersey and Los Angeles continue to receive double bandwidth for free!

If anyone orders an N1 and wants to switch to N2, S1, or S2. Do not submit a cancellation request; instead, open a ticket, and we will accommodate the switch to a different plan in the promotion.

Also you're in the raffle now!

We are not currently offering additional discounts or upgrades for long-term commitments, not for this particular offer anyway  ! We always ask that anyone who wants to commit to a quarterly or annual payment to try the service out first for a month or two and be 100% sure they want to commit. Nobody wants to find themselves stuck after paying!

While we are confident that the services we offer are good, we want to ensure that nobody jumps into something without doing their due diligence first.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm glad my response offered the needed clarity to anyone who shared the same concerns as you!

We genuinely want to offer a good product that people will trust and feel confident using, and if it comes at the cost of lower profit, so be it.
