I don't need no stinking AI to get fired.
Perfect for shitposting.
Slight productivity increase.
300% shitposting increase.
publicly available AI has long way to go still and overhyped IMO
shit in = shit out
AI has brought us @DediRock
BIG stonks gains and the irrisitable urge to bully anyone who uses an em dash in public.
A new book to learn.
Alot of lols and frustration, not much else. I keep trying it, and finding it creates enough bugs to waste more time debugging than just writing code myself.
Jist: I don't need AI to create bugs, I can do that myself.
Terrible ticket conversations.

All of our opening paragraph graphics on our site are AI generated, so in that sense, saved me from having to pay a graphic designer.
Site is the same shitty CMS I wrote a decade + ago just with some modernization tweaks (thanks to AI) and so it'll run fine on PHP 8.x
Beyond a few internal bash scripts that I could have probably created with enough time/patience for some general things, I'm not really using any code in production. Will use things like paid Grok, ChatGPT for refereence for pre-existing things when I'm too lazy to dig through a manual for every thing in a particular software stack, but I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel or vibe code public facing components or anything.
How do you type an em dash? I do
compose+---to get—, with compose being the windows key.Ai is the best, it brought me 5 min coding then 8 hours debugging, absolute cinema for someone with masochist
AI is teaching me to trust it less and less, the amount of mistakes multiple AI's are making lately are insane. (in my experience it used to be way less?)
Last example: 400Mbps 24/7 means 13TB per month (Claude), I corrected it and said 100Mbps is 33TB, it corrected me and said it's 32.4TB...
I'd say I was way closer to the actual value.
Actually helped me some stuff (code)
Helped me with code/library there are litteraly 0 references on first 5 google pages (multiple searches)
Replaced some manual work (or coding conplex shit)
Saved time researching
Saved few euros for pictures (some things i just need any filler ish content, so asking ai to gen very basic pics is fine)
Saved research because i dont know how shit is called (for example idk every electrical thing, i just can describe what i mean)
Helped translations for mom (i suck at translating)
Wasted a ton of my time (code)
Wasted even more time (code that it's sure it will work (but wont)
really?
I brought us a lot of dumb people. Overall, ai is dumbing down those who weren't very smart to begin with in particular.
I also hate how Google fills up the top of my phone screen with stupid, outdated and inaccurate info remotely relevant to my search.
AI is dumb shit IMO.
Nailed it!
A good intimate chat bot that won't file a restraining order against me.
Summarizing emails and meetings has been a huge help.

I feel like I should be in the center.
The Biloh Bucks is a nice touch though.
Chain of causation. @yoursunny shamed @DediRock into IPv6, which in turn boosted sales at DediRock, which brought in more cash and women, which in turn leads to Biloh bucks ultimately.
So I guess everyone wins in this case?
Yep, everyone wrought what they sought.
basically use it for anything I need to research now.
Always used AI as a helping hand. Used merely as a slightly intelligent search engine rather than spending time googling stuffs

Interesting take, the IPv6 Hall of Shame does have an effect....
